Chapter 1: School of The Cat : Eryk
Eryk of the Cat School is a Witcher whose past is shrouded in mystery. He was taken in by the Cat School as a young boy, after his parents were killed by a group of bandits. There, he was trained in the arts of stealth, assassination, and subterfuge, and quickly rose through the ranks to become one of the School's most skilled Witchers.
Eryk's strength lies in his ability to move quickly and quietly, to strike from the shadows and disappear just as quickly. He is a master of the crossbow and is skilled in the use of a variety of poisons and other deadly substances. He is also an expert at gathering information, and can blend into any crowd or situation with ease.
However, Eryk's greatest weakness is his tendency to act impulsively and take risks. He is a thrill-seeker at heart, and often puts himself in danger in order to feel alive. This can sometimes lead to him making mistakes or taking on more than he can handle.
Despite this, Eryk is a fiercely loyal friend and ally, and will go to great lengths to protect those he cares about. He has a deep respect for Geralt, whom he sees as a kindred spirit, and often acts as a voice of reason when Geralt's impulsiveness gets the better of him.
Eryk has a number of nervous ticks that he displays when he is feeling anxious or uncertain. He has a tendency to tap his foot rapidly, and will often rub his hands together or wring them nervously. He also has a habit of cracking his knuckles, which can be unnerving to those around him.
Despite his flaws, Eryk is a fascinating and complex character, with a rich backstory and a unique set of skills and abilities. His presence in "Trials of the Three: A Witcher Tale" adds a new dimension to the story, and makes for an interesting dynamic between him, Geralt, and Bjorn.
