Chapter 1: Trials & Tribulations Introduction
Have you ever been shanked in the back by someone whom you gave your all, I have not. Being shanked hurts, but it cannot compare to having your heart broken and trust torn in half whilst being stabbed by the one whom you gave your all. It takes a miracle for what once was to mend and become what will be. The pain from a physical wound can heal, but healing a broken heart is not a simple task that even the most noble and persevering people can do. Many people try various methods to heal their broken heart, from alcohol to drugs to coitus [SEX]. Maybe alcohol is the truest of all soulmates, what stops people from drowning their sorrows via cheap wine from the local fuel station.
I leave you at that to reflect on one's own heartbreak and look at how you mended (if you did). Was it thought the grace of having supportive family and/or friends? Was it through a dramatic life changing moment in your life that changed you for the better or worse? Whatever it may be, for those who healed you had your methods for those who have not healed yet maybe this will pave way to your happy place. Trials & tribulations, a title and phrase used to depict what awaits the main character. One thing can be certain, it is not luck that controls your life but what you do with it. Each decision has the opportunity to lead to a new and life changing result, what happened is in the past and cannot be changed but the future can be influenced, and experiences will not turn into déjà vu.
