Chapter 7: Chapter 7: And My Heart Starts Vanishing
Oliver and Kyla walked into their house and went to Zaruk's room. "H-hello." She said with an accent hesitantly as if remembering how to say the word.
"Zaruk, marry my dad after I marry him!" Kyla said.
"W-what?" Zaruk asked.
"First of all, phrasing, second of all, Zaruk, I am asking that you marry me... After I marry Kyla..." Oliver said.
"Oh... Umm... Marriage is that thing you spoke of earlier, yes?" She asked. Kyla nodded. "Then I would like some time to think if you would not mind." She said.
"Yeah, that's fine, let me know when you come to an answer." Oliver said as he left the room and entered the main room of the house. Kyla followed him.
'M-marry? As in, dedicate my life to him? I won't be alone in this commitment either, I like him, but am I prepared for that?' Zaruk wondered. 'Okay, okay, let's walk through this. "Tell me." Oliver said. Kyla sighed.

"That is my character design, yes." Kyla said with a smile. Oliver sighed.
"I have no one to blame but myself for your personality. I really should have just dropped that manga... But I bought it... So I felt like it would be a waste if I didn't read it." Oliver said. "Well, anyway, I should take a look at our resource and ensure we are prepared for winter." Oliver said as he got up.
Kyla nodded and got up as well, then they both exited and walked to the village center. After a few days, Zaruk her room door slightly and shyly peered out and looked at Kyla, who was currently the only other person in the house.
"Need something?" Kyla asked.
"I decided." She said quietly. Kyla moved closer to the door.
"I couldn't hear you, can you say it again?" Kyla asked.
"I have made my decision." Zaruk said with an even quieter tone than previously.
"I see. I'll get my dad." Kyla said as she walked away. Zaruk closed her door. A few minutes later, Oliver entered Zaruk's room with Kyla.
"Ah, I did not expect you to enter so suddenly." Zaruk said as she turned to face the door.
"Sorry, I should have knocked or let you know we were entering." Oliver said.
"It is fine. As you have been informed, I have made my decision." Zaruk said nervously as she fidgeted a bit.
"What did you decide?" Oliver asked.
"I will marry you. I believe this will be the best course of action for the future." Zaruk said.
"Marriage isn't just about the future, you know that, right?" Oliver asked.
"I should rephrase. I believe it will be the best course of action for my emotional future." Zaruk corrected herself.
"I see. Then we will schedule the ceremony shortly." Oliver said. Zaruk nodded.
"Let's get married to him at the same time!" Kyla said with a smile as she hugged Oliver's arm. Zaruk nodded lightly.
"Alright." She said softly.
