Chapter 31: War at Marineford II & Aftermath
Luffy and Zeus both started running and jumped at Garp and the same time, before they both punched Garp in the face, sending Garp flying through the ramp and careening to the ground. Luffy said "Sorry Gramps!" Zeus said "Jeez he's so dramatic." before he chuckled and followed Luffy.
Zeus and Luffy landed on the platform and Luffy said "Ace! We made it!" Zeus just smiled, Ace teared up and said "You guys!" Luffy took out a key he got from Hancock and started trying to unlock Ace's cuffs. Zeus was standing next to him and he said "Hey gramps! How ya been?" Sengoku was standing next to them on the platform and got a huge tick mark on his forehead, all of a sudden and lightbeam shot through the key in Luffy's hands and it snapped in half. Luffy panicked and said "No! The key!" Zeus slapped himself and said "Fuck! Hey gramps you wouldn't happen to-" he looked to Sengoku and noticed that he was growing bigger and bigger and becoming golden, Zeus gulped and said "Well, that's not good." One of the executioners woke up, and looked up, it was Galdino! Zeus turned and saw him and said "Galdino! Key! Now!" Galdino was scrambling to make a key, and Sengoku said "Straw hat! Red devil! Fire fist! You three all deserve to die under my fist!" as he swung his fist down, Luffy said "Galdino! Make a wall for Zeus and Ace!!" as he blew up.
"Gum-Gum Balloon!"
Sengoku and Luffy collided and the platform collapsed, Luffy and the rest fell to the ground, while falling Galdino finished the key and threw it at Luffy. The marines on the ground all shot towards the four of them, Zeus grabbed Galdino and threw him towards Buggy across the battlefield and Luffy unlocked Ace's cuffs.
BOOOOOOOM*
A huge explosion occurred on the three of them, causing a huge smoke cloud to cover their figures. One of the marines said "Did we get them?" all of a sudden, fire cut through the smoke.
"Fire Pillar!"
A fire pillar fell to the ground reavealing Luffy, Ace, and Zeus, as Ace said "Man you guys just keep getting into my business" Zeus chuckled and looked around before saying "Well, considering you got captured I don't think we had a choice" Luffy just grinned and got into a fighting stance. Ace laughed and said "Then let's fight like the old times shall we?" Zeus summoned his gauntlets and raised them up, as Marines started attacking them on all sides. Zeus sidestepped a sword and punched the marine, sending him flying smashing into two more and said "I got three!" Ace puched out a fire pillar through a group of Marines and said "Heh fourteen." Luffy shot his foot out like a whip knocking a bunch of marines flying and said "Shishishi I think 20?" Zeus pouted and said "No fair!" before he turned to a giant group of marines and pointed at them.
"El Thor!"
A huge pillar of lightning fell down on all of them knocking them unconscious, and Zeus laughed "That must've been a hundred Shishishishishi!" Ace and Luffy grinned as they started running through Marines and returning to the bay, where the ships were. Whitebeard watched them and grinned "Those kids.." He turned and yelled "Everyone listen up! I'm going to give you, your last orders as captain! Escape with Ace, Straw hat, and Red devil! Make it safe to the New World!" Zeus snapped and flashed on Whitebeard, he grabbed his collar and stood on his chest as he looked him in the eyes and screamed "OI, OLD MAN! MY RIVAL IS NOT GOING TO DIE HERE! UNDERSTAND ME!? I'M GOING TO BE THE STRONGEST MAN IN THE WORLD AND YOU NEED TO BE ALIVE FOR ME TO DO THAT!" everyone was shocked, Luffy laughed and Ace was stunned. Whitebeard's eye twitched, he grabbed Zeus and threw him towards Ace and Luffy and said "I'm already old kid, forget about me!" Ace caught Zeus and said "POPS!" Whitebeard said "Go with your brothers my son!" Before he smashed the air and said "NO SHIP CAN HANDLE ME IN THE NEW ERA!!" Cracks spread in the air and smashed the ground and the Marine building.
Zeus and Luffy, turned and said to Ace "Let's go the old man told us to leave!" Ace was standing there like a statue before he bowed to Whitebeard, Whitebeard saw this and said "Was I a good father?" Ace had tears in his eyes and said "Of course!" Whitebeard smiled and Ace turned around and continued to run with Zeus and Luffy. Zeus was thinking how close they were to changing everything, there was only one thing left, he turned around and threw a thunder spear behind them at Akainu and continued running, effectively stopping him from throwing a huge molten fist at the Whitebeard pirates. Zeus chuckled and grabbed Ace and Luffy and shaved to run faster, hoping Ace wouldn't hear what Akainu was about to say.
Akainu caught the spear and immediately dropped it, he looked at his hands and was surprised to see he was burned, he sneered and said "A bunch of cowards! Leaving your captain behind!" Zeus was carrying Ace and felt him stiffen, Zeus said "Fucking Akainu. Ace don't listen to him he's goading you!" Ace's hand turned black and he smashed Zeus away, Zeus went flying with Luffy and Ace turned around and said "What did you say?!" Ace flew towards Akainu, and threw a punch at him, Akainu met his fist with his own covered in magma. Ace flew back and Luffy screamed "Ace!" he tried to get to Ace but fell to his knees, Zeus got up from the ground and mumbled "No.. I have to change it!" Akainu sneered at Ace and said "Magma burns fire too. You, Red devil, and Straw hat all have bad blood in you, even if the rest escape, I will get you three." Akainu saw Luffy on his knees and jumped towards him, Ace screamed "NO!" and jumped in Akainu's way, just before hit was hit, Ace went flying and he turned to see Zeus standing in front of Luffy, with a pink chestplate on his chest and Akainu's fist sinking in his skin. Ace's mind blanked, and Luffy looked up to see Zeus blocking in front of him.
Zeus coughed out some blood and sneered at Akainu "You know lightning can get as hot as five times the surface of the sun, so I guess it burns magma too." Zeus chuckled and spit in Akainu's face and continued "Fuck off red dog!" Zeus cocked back his gauntlet covered fist and punched a surprised Akainu in the stomach, burning his skin and sending him back a few steps. Everyone stopped and looked at Zeus and Akainu in pure shock. Zeus looked at his chest and said "Good thing it wasn't over my heart or I would've been fucked." He smiled and got a thunder spear out and said "Ace, Luffy! I'll hold him back you guys run!" He turned to Luffy and said "I won't die. I promise." Before he turned back to Akainu and said "Let's get this show on the road doggy." Zeus threw the thunder spear at him before pointing his palms forward.
"Heaven's Ring, Angel's Trumpet"
His gauntlets turned to Cannons, and Zeus said.
"WORMWOOD!!!!"
A huge pink lightning blast came out and shot towards Akainu, burning his arms that were crossed in front of him, before he turned around and grabbed Luffy saying "Ace! Let's go!" and ran back to the huge group of pirates, Ace ran after them and caught up to them and said "Heheh Thanks for the save" Zeus smacked the back of his head and said "Yeah you dumb bastard, you're welcome" before he smiled and said "Glad your safe now, but this is gonna scar pretty bad." Ace laughed and said "Yeah, but it'll look bad-ass hahahahah!" Zeus laughed and said "Yeah you're right Shishishishi." Marco landed in front of them and said "Glad to see you okay was worried for a moment there, let's-" before he could finish a red, blue, and yellow flash fell around them, revealing Akainu, Kizaru, and Aokiji, Zeus chuckled hopelessly and said "This is bad, like really bad." he threw Luffy towards Jinbe and said "Marco you get Kizaru, Ace take Aokiji, and I'll get the red puppy." They both nodded and engaged their opponents. Zeus chuckled and said "Fuck, I really hate you, you know that?" Akainu sneered and said "Same here." before he threw a punch towards Zeus' head, Zeus jumped back and Akainu's fist went through the floor, Zeus threw a thunder spear at Akainu's head and they started fighting, while they were fighting Whitebeard started fighting Sengoku.
Whitebeard sent Sengoku flying, and Ace, Marco, and Zeus pushed the three admirals back. All of a sudden, Akainu threw a magma fist towards Ace, Zeus blocked it with a thunder spear and said "Oi, puppy you're fighting me remember?!" before he threw another spear at Akainu forcing him to dodge, Akainu got a tick mark on his forehead and said "You're really annoying brat!" Zeus chuckled and said "Thanks for the compliment" before he threw another spear at him. A loud laugh was heard through the whole battlefield.
"ZEHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Zeus grit him teeth and continued to fight Akainu, if he lost focus even for a second, he'll die. Marco and Ace however cocked their heads towards the laugh, Kizaru and Aokiji, saw the opening and sent both of them flying, Zeus screamed "Marco! Ace! Don't lose focus! We need to win! I'm not dying here!" Marco and Ace both nodded and started fighting again.
Blackbeard was standing on one of the collapsed building with nine other people. Blackbeard had burns all over his chest and arms, and he was standing with Lafitte, DocQ, Van Augur, Jesus Burgess, Sanjuan Wolf, Avalo Pizarro, Vasco Shot, Shiryu, and Catarina Devon. The first four had burns and cut scars on their bodies. Whitebeard said "TEACH!" Teach laughed and said "Zehahahahah Old man I'm here for your head!" Sengoku snapped "What are you doing with prisoners from Impel Down, Teach!" Teach sneered and said "They're the only reason I wanted to be a Warlord in the first place!" Sengoku seethed and said "You became a Warlord to get your crew members out of jail?" Teach laughed and said "Yeah Zehahahahaha!" Whitebeard snapped and said "TEACH!!!" before he swung his fist at him sending Teach and his crew flying, the building collapsed.
Zeus was fighting Akainu and was oblivious to what was happening, if he wasn't he would've noticed the darkness that was slowly creeping towards Ace.
Ace was fully focused on Aokiji, and finally sent him back, he swiped his forehead and jumped towards Aokiji again, Kizaru noticed Marco was looking for Teach and shot a lightbeam towards Ace, it flew through the air and through Ace's shoulders, sending Ace rolling on the ground. Marco snapped and kicked Kizaru away, before flying towards Ace, Aokiji stepped in and made an icewall in front of Marco before kicking Ace, Kizaru flashed in front of Marco and said "We were fighting weren't we Pheonix?" Marco gritted his teeth and kicked Kizaru, before flying after him. Ace rolled on the ground and coughed up some blood, before standing up and holding off Aokiji's attacks, Aokiji got the better of him when Ace faltered because of his shoulder wounds, and sent him stumbling back. Ace stopped right in front of the darkness on the ground and held his shoulder panting as he looked at Aokiji, all of a sudden the darkness on the ground turned into Teach and shot through Ace's body. Ace's eyes widened as he coughed out a mouthful of blood.
Luffy saw Teach standing behind Ace with his arm piercing Ace's body and he screamed "ACE!!!!!!" Zeus threw a thunder spear forcing Akainu back before he turned to look and turned pale. Teach laughed and said "ZEHAHAHAHA I finally got you for burning me on Banaro Island!" he took him arm back and Ace fell to the floor, Zeus flashed and grabbed him and flashed in front of Luffy before handing Ace to him. Zeus looked at Ace before he moved his mask in front of his face and turned around.
Teach looked at Zeus and was a bit scared, Zeus had his horns out, along with his ring and gauntlets, but he also had wings, they were blood red.
Time stopped and everyone looked at Ace before they heard a loud scream.
"TEAAAAAACHHH!!! I'LL KILL YOOOOU!!!!!"
Zeus yelled and created a shockwave of conqueror's Haki, that spread through all of marineford knocking out almost all the marines and some of the pirates, Sengoku, Garp, and Whitebeard looked at Zeus and their pupils shrunk. Zeus growled and lightning started crackling off of him, his ring rotated at the fastest speed he had, Zeus screamed and his red ring shot a pillar into the sky.
"HEAVEN'S RING!"
The pillar stopped and pure black clouds covered the sky, everybody heard Zeus say.
"KIRIN!!!!"
In the black clouds blood red lightning poked out and formed into a gigantic Kirin, the Kirin poked it's head out and turned to Teach, Teach fell back in shock and everybpdy looked at the sky and turned pale. Zeus started floating and pointed down at Teach, only his red eyes visible behind the mask. The Kirin in the sky flew back into the clouds before diving down and smashing head first into Teach's body. Zeus flew forward as well, and kicked Teach across the battlefield, through several buildings, and turned his head to Akainu, Zeus' gauntlets turned pink and he punched Akainu in the stomach sending him flying, Zeus flashed on top of Akainu and punched his face, before flashing under him and digging his knee into his back, Zeus flashed abouve and kicked Akainu away. He turned to Kizaru and flashed in front of him and punched him in the face as well. Zeus was going from Marine to Marine and sending them flying, Marco came up to Zeus and tried to get him to calm down, he said "Ace is gone we have to go! You may have sent the admirals flying but they'll come back!" As if on cue Kizaru and Akainu got back up, and Teach had huge lighting burns and scars over his body and he coughed out mouthful after mouthful of blood, his crew went next to him before looking in Zeus direction. Zeus sneered and shot towards Akainu, while throwing a thunder spear at Teach, and launched his fist at Akainu. Akainu took the punched and punched Zeus right in the face, sending him flying back as Kizaru kicked him in the mask, Zeus flew towards Whitebeard and he caught Zeus in his hands.
Whitebeard looked at Zeus who was glaring daggers at Akainu, Kizaru, and Teach before he threw up blood and bits of internal organs. Zeus mask snapped in two down the middle, he used the last of his conscious to grab the mask pieces firmly in his hands, and passed out from the pain. Whitebeard smiled, and looked at Zeus, who was still using Conqueror's Haki and glaring at Akainu, Kizaru, and Teach even while unconscious and said "Strongest in the world huh? I think he might just do it." before he threw Zeus towards Marco and said "Go! Take Ace's brothers away from here!" Marco flew and handed Zeus over to Jinbe, and said "Take him and the other one and go!" Jinbe nodded and flew back to the rest of the Whitebeard pirates.
Jinbe grabbed Luffy, who was holding Ace and was unconscious, and started running away, Akainu chased after Jinbe and said "Jinbe!! Give me Dragon's sons!!!" before he shot through the air and punched a magma fist through Jinbe's side and nicking Luffy's chest, causing a big "X" wound to appear, Jinbe grit his teeth and kicked Akainu, making him fly farther away from him, allowing Jinbe to make it into the sea and Jinbe started swimming away, Akainu, Kizaru, and Aokiji watched them go.
Jinbe kept swimming before he saw a hatch open in the water, and Law popped out saying "Bring Straw hat-ya, and Red devil-ya inside!" Jinbe jumped in the hatch, Law closed it and the ship sank back into the water, disappearing from sight.
Down in Law's submarine, Luffy and Zeus were getting emergency first aid from Law. Jinbe was sitting on a chair and said "How are they?" Law sighed and said "Straw hat-ya, has major exhaustion and over use of his whole body, he'll be fine in 2 weeks maximum, but Red devil-ya..." Jinbe tensed and said "What's wrong with him?" Law looked at Zeus and said "I don't know what he did, but aside from the burn mark on his right chest, which will heal quickly, almost all of his internal organs are torn, I stitched them up and kept them together but he will be out for at least 2 weeks maybe more. His heart was surrounded by lightning and was completely unscathed, so it's not deadly but if he kept fighting for any longer he would've died, he's actually extremely lucky that I took you guys in. What happened up there?" Jinbe was shocked to hear what happened to Zeus and explained how Ace died and Zeus went beserk and summoned a huge Kirin and sent Teach, Akainu, and Kizaru flying and fought against all three at once, before Whitebeard threw him back to Marco and how Jinbe escaped, Law was shocked and said "A giant Kirin!?" Jinbe nodded and said "I think it was how he got his internal injuries. He had a red ring spinning at an extremely high speed on his back, I don't know but I don't see how else he would've got internal injuries like that." Law nodded and gulped, the immature kid, who made jokes at a slave auction was such a scary guy.
A bear ran into the room and said "Captain, there's a Kuja ship above us, and Hancock herself is on it and said that she wants to board our ship!" Law frowned and said "Ignore her! What if she tells the marines where we are, these two are in no condition to fight!" Jinbe said "She helped Luffy during the war, I don't think she means any harm. Go up, if anything happens, I will protect your ship so you can escape." Law nodded and said "Go up." the bear nodded and the ship slowly reached the top of the sea.
Jinbe opened the hatch and said "What do you want Hancock?" Hancock said "Jinbe! Where's Luffy! Is he okay?!" Jinbe said "He's fine what do you want?" Hancock said "I'm bringing Luffy to Amazon Lily." Sandersonia piped in "And Zeus too." Hancock ignored her, and Jinbe frowned and said "I will follow you" Hancock frowned and Jinbe added "If you're telling the truth we won't have any problems, but if you're not then i'll send you to the bottom of the sea." before he went back into the submarine and grabbed Luffy and Zeus and said to Law "Thank you for fixing them up." Law waved and said "This world would be a lot more boring with these two in it. Don't mention it." Jinbe nodded and said "Thank you for my treatment as well." Law nodded and said "I'm not done with Straw hat-ya's treatment so I will be following tell Hancock." Jinbe nodded and left the submarine and boarded the Kuja ship.
2 weeks Later on Amazon Lily
Zeus' eyelids twitched and slowly opened, he slowly sat up and held up his hands that were still holing the mask Robin got him, he looked over his body and saw that he was covered head to toe in bandages. He sighed again and got off the bed, slipped his sandals on and walked out of the tent, he saw Law sitting on a rock and said "Thanks for the treatment" Law turned to him and spit out his drink "You're awake?!" he exclaimed, Zeus nodded and said "Overexertion of Kirin, and fighting with the boost it gives me, which is even more taxing for my body, puts a lot of stress on the organs." Law said "A lot of stress is right! I saw almost all of your organs nearly in pieces! I stitched them up for you though, you cant fight for at least another week." Zeus said "I'm not exactly fighting anyone here, is training fine?" Law thought about it and said "Depends, light training like running and body training is fine but if you want to spar i'd say no." Zeus nodded and asked "Can I use my devil fruit?" Law nodded and said "Yeah, as long as you don't do whatever you did at Marineford and put more stress on your organs you'll be fine."
Zeus let out a breath of relief and whistled calling down his cloud, he pulled out the two pieces of the mask Garp gave him before taking the left piece that had a scar over the eye and putting the other back, he looked at the mask Robin got him and kept the right piece, which had the one of the teeth broken off and put the other side back. Zeus held the two pieces and said "It's not possible for you to force these together with your fruit is it?" Law shook his head and Zeus sighed, he put the pieces into his pocket and said "Where's Luffy?" before hearing loud crashes in the woods and saying "Nevermind, Thank you Law." Law was surprised he used his name instead of cow-hat guy, but dismissed it.
Zeus showed up and saw Luffy smashing everything around him while crying, he walked next to Jinbe and said "How long has he been awake?" Jinbe turned and was surprised Zeus was awake as well and said "A few hours. He's not taking it very well." Zeus nodded and walked forward, dodging a punch from Luffy, before stepping in front of him and slapping his face sending him flying and smashing through a rock. Luffy got up and stared at Zeus, Zeus looked at him and said "He's dead. You crying isn't going to bring him back." Luffy teared up again and fell to him knees, Zeus slowly walked towards him and said "We're weak, that's why he died. You couldn't help and I couldn't beat Akainu in time to stop Teach" Zeus paused and took a deep breath before raising his voice and yelling at Luffy "WE'RE WEAK AND THAT'S WHY WE CAN'T SAVE ANYONE SO STOP CRYING AND FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET STRONGER BEFORE WE LOSE SOME ELSE!" Zeus punched Luffy in the face and sat on him as he cried and kept punching him, Jinbe grabbed Zeus taking him off of Luffy, while Law and the rest of his crew ran through the forest after hearing Zeus yell. Luffy was staring at Zeus and Zeus coughed up more blood, before he said "I lost a brother too, and I'm not going to lose another one." before he coughed out another mouthful of blood, Luffy was concerned and got up to help him, Zeus said "I tried to stop it so many times but he still died!" Zeus started crying and Hancock and Sandersonia showed up too, Zeus continued "I knew Teach was going for Ace since Alabasta, I told Ace to make sure he had allies to help him win 100%!" Luffy choked up slightly and Zeus cried "I didn't kill Teach before we went to Skypeia because I would've interfered with Ace's battles!" Luffy started crying as he remembered what Zeus said that day, Zeus grit his teeth and ripped off the bandages on his torso, revealing the giant star-shaped scar over his right chest as well as the dragon tattoo on his left chest, the dragon's head was a little burnt and looked a little back, Zeus screamed "I pushed Ace out of the way and took Akainu's punch, saving Ace's life!" he coughed out more blood and fell to his knees, he struggled to stand up and knocked Jinbe's hands away before grabbing Luffy's collar and saying "I fought head on with Akainu, almost dying several times so he could escape, all for nothing! Because I was too weak! So instead of crying around here think about how the rest of the crew feels!" he spat and continued "Because I know for a fact that where ever they are now, they're more worried about you than whatever dangers they're in. You're the Captain, we can't.. afford.. for you to" Zeus lost his grip on Luffy's collar and fell to the ground face first and said "Give up." and he passed out. Luffy looked at Zeus on the ground and said "Law fix him up. He promised he won't die." before walking off into the woods by himself, Hancock said "Luffy! Where are you going?" Luffy said "I need to be alone." before he vanished, leaving Hancock in shock. Law sighed and Jinbe picked up Zeus from the ground, Law said "It was a nice speech, but did he really have to open up his wounds again?" Jinbe chuckled and said "At least he got Luffy out of his rampage." Law nodded and went back to camp, with Jinbe following him, Sandersonia hesitated and decided to follow too. Hancock was so focused on Luffy she didn't even noticed her sister follow Jinbe.
A few hours later
Zeus woke up and sat up again, he turned and saw Sandersonia sleeping next to him, in a chair, he smiled and checked his body. Noticing he was covered in bandages again he sighed and pulled out the pieces of his mask and just stared at them in a daze, a voice broke him out of his thoughts "I can fix that for you, maybe even make it better." Zeus turned to Sandersonia and said "You can?!" She smiled and nodded, Zeus hesitated before sighing as he said "I don't want to take advantage of you, I already have someone else and I don't know how they would feel about another girl. I really appreciate everything you've done for me but I don't want you to be upset because I can't give you what you want. If you don't want to fix it anymore, I understand and I'm sorry for not telling you sooner." he sighed at her sad look and was about to put the mask away, but she stopped him and said "I'll fix it. If I can make you happy even if I can't be with you I'll be happy." Zeus was shocked and said "But I-" she cut him off and said "I know, but if i fix it and make it better, you'll always have a reminder of me and that's enough." Zeus looked at her in the eyes and sighed "I truly don't know what I did to deserve women like this in my life, why are you so nice to me? You haven't even known me for long." Sandersonia took the mask pieces from him and said with a smile "I don't know, when I met you I really didn't like you, but you didn't treat me as a monster even for the way I look in my normal human form, maybe it's just infatuation but I've seen other look at me like i'm a monster when we go out on government missions, and it doesn't feel good." Zeus looked her in the eyes and said "If you want to know what I think, I don't think you're ugly at all. Not only on the outside but on the inside, you could be the most beautiful girl in the world but if you act like your sister used to, you would still be ugly in my eyes. I happen to think you're quite beautiful in both regards." he smiled at her, causing her to blush and stammer "Um, Thank you, I-I n-need to go back to the castle, I'll fix your mask and make it way tougher and better!" Zeus said "Thank you, and can you not fix the cuts and broken parts? It would feel like a new one otherwise." She smiled and nodded before leaving the tent and disappearing. Zeus took a deep breath and got to his feet and walked out of the tent himself.
He walked out of the tent and saw Luffy was sitting on a rock near Law, clearly waiting for him. Zeus walked up to Luffy and Law, and said "What did I do to myself?" Law chuckled and said "Nothing serious, it was minor openings, they're probably already healed" Zeus let out a breath before looking for his cigarettes, he patted his pockets and said "Where did my cigarettes go?" Law's crew froze up slightly and started whistling, Zeus looked at them and then gave Law a look, he sighed and nodded, Zeus facepalmed and called down his cloud before grabbing another pack and sending the cloud back up and lighting one, sitting in a chair and saying to Luffy "So, what's the plan?" Luffy said "We go eat at Hancock's and figure it out later, I was waiting for you, I'm sure you're just as hungry as I am." Zeus was surprised and teased him a little bit "Wow, you waited for someone else to eat?" Luffy chuckled and got on the rock and said "I can't wait any longer!" before walking off, Zeus chuckled and said "Wanna join? I might be able to get you into town at least." Law's crew perked up and looked expectantly at Law, who shook his head and said "I'd rather not anger the pirate empress." Zeus chuckled and patted Law's shoulders and said "Yea you wouldn't believe what the amazons do to men around here, one of them even asked for Luffy to give her his balls Shishishishi!" Law and his crew shuddered, and Zeus continued "They even gave him a bath and mistook his dick for a mushroom and tried to pull it off, if he wasn't rubber it probably would have! SHISHISHISHI!!" Law's crew were pale, and Law said "Stop telling us horror stories and get out of here." Zeus laughed and walked away while saying "Although you can probably easily trick them into mating with you, they are completely fine with it." Law's crew nearly cried at the twisted information Zeus just gave them, Law smirked and said "What a crafty bastard."
Zeus caught up to Luffy, who was running and said "Fuck me Lu, why are we running? The food isn't going to eat itself." Luffy grinned and said "Because i'm starving!" Luffy wrapped his arm around Zeus and grabbed on to a tree branch, Zeus went pale and he said "No Luffy don't!" Luffy shot forward smashing through the window of the castle and into the dining room, on the floor. Zeus sat up and said "Damnit Luffy! I almost died... again!" Luffy chuckled and sat down at the table and started eating, Zeus sighed and sat down and started eating too. Hancock, Nyon, and Hancock's sisters came into the dining room and saw the window was broken and Zeus and Luffy were eating. Hancock and Sandersonia giggled, while Nyon sighed and Marigold looked at her sisters with a weird look on her face. They sat down and waited for Luffy and Zeus to finish eating, a few minutes went by and all the food was gone, Luffy patted his stomach and burped, while Zeus said "Thanks for the food Hancock" Hancock looked between Luffy and Zeus and blood gushed out of her nose as she fainted, Zeus sighed and said "Thank you Sandersonia, and you two as well." Sandersonia blushed and Marigold nodded, Nyon looked at Hancock and Sandersonia and sighed "This is unbelievable" Zeus chuckled and said "What can I say, I'm just too handsome." Nyon and Marigold rolled their eyes and Sandersonia fainted too, Zeus winced a bit and said "Honestly I already told her I have someone else and I can't give her what she wants, I'm sorry if this causes problems" Nyon waved her hand and said "She told me, I told her to do what makes her happy, it's not your fault." Zeus sighed and rubbed his temples, while he was doing that however, the doors to the room opened and revealed Rayleigh.
Zeus turned to look at Rayleigh, before he said to Luffy "See we could've used the door like normal people." Luffy shook his head and said "Yeah, but it would've been slower and less cool." Zeus nodded and said "Yeah, you're right that old man doesn't look cool at all" Luffy chuckled and Rayleigh snapped "Oi, you brat! Who doesn't look cool?!" Zeus said "And you're not handsome either!" Rayleigh got a tick mark on his forehead and smacked Zeus at the back of his head, causing Zeus to eat the table. Rayleigh took back his fist and said "ANYWAY i'm here to take a look at You and Luffy and see what your plans are." Zeus picked up his head and looked at Luffy before saying "Luffy you make the decision." Luffy said seriously "We need to get back to Sabaody" Rayleigh shook his head and said "The same thing will happen again, I have a plan." Rayleigh explained his plan and the duo nodded.
Luffy and Zeus arrived at Marineford with Rayleigh and Jinbe, before sailing a ring around the island, Luffy and Zeus were followed by Rayleigh and Jinbe, as they made their way to the bell on Marineford and both rang it 8 times each, while simultaneously putting their hands on their hearts and having a moment of silence before leaving Marineford and returning to Amazon Lily.
The crew each fo the news and noticed a tattoo on Luffy's arm that said 3D2Y with the 3D 'X'-ed out. They all understood the message and started to train harder to become strong enough to fight with their captain and his brother, while Robin was still worried about Zeus, hearing that he made a huge move during the war, she sighed and said to herself "I will be strong enough to stand next to him." she clenched her fist and trained even harder, and swore to herself that she wouldn't drag him down.
Back on Amazon Lily, Zeus and Luffy said goodbye to Law and thanked him for treating them, Law waved and left, Zeus turned to Rayleigh and said "I want to be as strong as possible, me and Luffy both have Conquerors Haki, I want to have the power to protect them all." Rayleigh raised a brow and said "I see you're taking Ace's death quite well" Zeus nodded and said "I was too weak, I won't let it happen again." He bowed and said "Please train me." Rayleigh smiled and said "I hope you're ready then" Zeus straightened his back and said "I will do anything you tell me to do if it makes me stronger." Rayleigh grinned and said "I hope you don't regret those words."

Monkey_Godking Hey guys! A LONG one, I honestly tried my best with the Marineford war, I really hope you guys liked it, cus I did. I know a bunch of you are going to be upset that Ace still died but ya know shit happens, who knew Teach would go for Ace at that moment? I can tell you even I was shocked!
BTW I know it wasn't a very impactful death, but maybe with the right music it would be better? I don't have a soundtrack unfortunately. Anyway that was Marineford and we're moving on to bigger things!
Also I know that some of you will be confused with what happened with Kirin, let me explain, when Zeus uses Kirin he can somewhat control what it does, it's very basic and because he can only do basic commands the extra energy is leftover giving him a power boost, kinda like gear second but about 3 times more powerful, that's why he was able to send Akainu and Kizaru flying after he used it, if he uses the extra energy to fight it puts even more stress on his body, giving him extra damage, instead of partially countering the damage from using Kirin. so basically he uses kirin and doesn't move he gets less damage.
NEXT TIME: Training arc, there are going to be some shenanigans it might be idk a chapter and a half long?
