Chapter 2: 2
Rebekah's POV
It was a beautiful night, I had just left home with my best friend Dana to go to a party she was invited to. Dana was always the party one and I was known as her nerd friend because not once I was caught dead in these kind of thing. We arrived and all I see is 17 year old girls and boys having nothing better to do with their lives but drink, dance and devour each other. Dana and I walked in hand in hand but soon got separated by the wild animals we called friends. I pulled to a corner and took in the music from a far. I got myself a drink and moved to the music. I may be known as a nerd in peoples eye but Dana know I can drink my life always I grew up drinking with my dad he would say it's good for the cold or some crazy thing like that so I could drink but I never did it all the time. Dana pulled me out my thought by tugging me up stairs and into a bedroom full of people.
"Why am I here?" I asked Dana.
"Truth or Dare my sister," she answered and by the way she did told me that she was drunk.
"Oh no no no you know me," I said going back out the room. Dana pushed me back in the room and into the circle.
"Ay, look guys it's the nerd," Shenelle, Dana's cousin said laughing," truth or dare?" she asked. Shenelle and I don't really get alone so when she asked I knew that this we turn out bad.
"Truth or Dare, Beka pick fast honey," she said again.She was getting on my last never so I just said dare to shut her up. I regretted saying that because of the sick smile that formed on her face. She looked at Ben and the back at me. Ben Ford a total dream with his blue eyes and reddish curly hair, but he's not my type not that I have one but you know what I mean, he moved down here from Paris about 8 months ago and since then Dana is head over heels for him so I wouldn't even dream about going with him.
"I dare you and Ben to kiss on the lips for 1 minute," she said looking at Dana who's smile had dropped as I look at her from on the opposite side of me.
"oh hell no I ent doing that what the hell," I answered shaking my head. Dana smiled again and I smiled back at her. But Ben rose from way he was sit and chased our lips together before I had the chance to move. I tried to pull away but he grip onto me so hard that it was difficult to do so. When I finally got free of him I punned him dead in the face so hard that I broke his noise.
"Don't ever touch me again!" I shouted and got up and walked out.
"Niceeee,"I hear one of the guys say laughing as I left, "Nerd's got hand g."
I looked all over for Dana but couldn't find her after Ben kissed me and I pried from him I noticed she had left. I walked outside and found her finally on a beach chair surrounded by a lot of people. I walked up to her and was about to talk to her when she turned around and threw her drink on me.
"Traitor!" she screamed. I whipped the drink off my face and just looked at her in disbelieve. "What the hell was that for?" I asked pissed the hell off.
"You know what it was for bitch so shut the fuck up!" she shouted, "You call yourself my best friend but you kissed the guy I like for god knows how long you're a bitch."
"I'm the bitch if it's anything it's your fucked up cuz the bitch," I said to her and walking off because I know that it would turn into a fight. I usually don't swear but when I get angry I will cuss like wind. I quickly phoned my mom but it went straight to voice mail. I decided to texted her as I walked out onto the street.
'Hey mom Dana an I got into a fight an you pick me up at Jason's house'
'Sorry baby I'm in a meeting right now can't you an Dana just make up'
'Yah sure whatever you never have time for me no more anyways I hardly even see you on a normal day '
Was the last thing I texted before muting my phone.I sat on a chair that I found out in front away from the music and cried.I started remembering when my dad was still alive and it just mead me cry more.After a while I felt bad for what I said to my mom because I know its hard to raze me and she does it by herself.I pulled out my phone and saw 10 missed calls and texts saying she'll pick me up by Jake's house which was ten blocks from here so I got up and walked. I had arrived at Jake's house and she wasn't there so I deiced to call her,"hey mom I'm at Jake's place and I'm sorry for what i said."
"it's okay sweetheart it happens I'll be there inna while okay love you,"she said hanging up. I stand there for about a half an hour till a cop car pulled up in front of me.
"Can I help you officer?"I asked bending down in the window.
"Rebekah Williams?"he questioned as he got out of the car and making his way to me.
"yes,"I said stepping back a bit from him as he was now standing in front of me.
"you need to come with me please miss,"he said.
"for what?"I heard someone say behind me.I quickly turned around and found Dana standing behind me.She walked up to me and grabbed my hand and I felt safe with her around for she was a fighter unlike myself.He turned to Dana then back at me as he stepped more into view.
"miss there has been an accident and you need to get to the hospital right away,"he said as he was now looking me in my eyes.His blue eyes were so bright that it was hard not to stare.we all got into the car and Dana tried to calm me down as the officer had told me what had happen.We arrived to the hospital and before the car could stop I ran out and to the counter.
"Anna Williams?" I said to the lady.
"Am Anna William was brought and rushed to ICU,Who are you to her?"she asked
"Her daughter,"I answered pulling out my ID card.
"Room 306,"she said and I ran.I had just gotten to the door and was about to open it when the doctor came out.
"How is she?"I ask worried.
"Who are you miss?"he questioned.
"I'm her daughter and as I asked how is she?"I said getting railed up.
He dropped his head and razed it back,"Am miss can we speak in private."
"Private my ass how is my mother?"I asked again and when he didn't answered I pushed pass him and went in the room.My heart dropped at the sight that had been placed upon me.
"I'm sorry miss... we tried all we could,"he said and I drop to the ground looking at my now death mother. "Bekah,"Dana cried as she tried to pick me up. I got up and rushed over to my mom and begged for her to not leave me and shake her.The nurses and doctor fought me off of her and I just cried and kicked till everything just went black.
