"Hey, you know her, don't you? Why do you pretend you don't know her?" Ernesto asked me.

"I don't pretend I don't know her. I don't know her."

"What? Wait, so what? You called out her name, didn't you?"

"Yeah, I called her name. I only realized the girl was Layla when we wanted to enter the hallway. I only realized it was Layla when she freaked out and grabbed my sleeve."

"I do not understand. So what do you mean? You didn't know her before we came in here?"

"Well..."
