Chapter 1: Chapter 1:
Nora's POV
My siblings and I hide inside the closet as the strange tall man approached us slowly but steadily. Suddenly a figure from behind the man hit him instantly to reveal my mother's beautiful, pale face.
"Mama" I quietly said as she continuously looked around to see if the coast was clear then she opened the closet door and called my aunt who was badly injured from the fight but was still standing.
"Take them far away from here" my mother stated as my older brother wouldn't budge while warm tears started flowing down my baby cheeks making them turn red. "But" my aunt hesitated "No buts just take them away from here" my mother yelled
Before we could go my mother kissed my sister and brother's forehead and gave us a tight hug telling us to be safe and to always protect our pack. I never thought it would be the last meeting with my parents and stood there confused.
"Hurry" she said as we jump out of the window and I saw a scaly like man attack her from behind and my father glad to see us escaping from the home I knew since birth. My siblings and I could not shift into our wolf forms yet so we all had to run in our human forms including my aunt who was in need of medical care.
"Papa" my brother screamed as we witnessed my father's death and watched as the last memories of our home burn down to pieces.
It had been 15 years since the death of my parents and my uncle, and I was now 20 years old living in Norway with my brother Lucas who was the next alpha in line of the Norlane pack, my sister Ella the Luna wolf of the Norlane pack with her new mate Damien and my aunt Netty who was taking care of us at the time. Ella was the oldest in the family by 27 followed by my brother Lucas who was 25 and finally me being the youngest and the last born in the Larsen family.
"Nora Larsen get your butt down here young lady" my aunt called me as I went down the steps towards the kitchen and greeted everybody.
"Morning everyone" I said as they all turned around to see me. I had felt as if they were discussing something important before I came into the room.
"How has your training being going?" my brother asked with a smile on his face "It's getting better, thank you for asking" I answered. I had been training ever since I found out that my parents were killed by a dragon clan and even hated all dragons for that matter.
"When will you stop all of your nonsense?" Ella stated "when I have our parent's killer by the throat" I replied "can't you just forget about the past" she responded with a frown "I can't forget the way my parents were brutally killed that night" I said as tears started flowing down my plumy cheeks and ran for the nearest exit door.
