Chapter 2: He called me
I have always wanted to be away from all of this. Fame, wealth and power aren't what I want. I am an independent woman so somehow being free is what I like the most but since living under my parents I need to be a very good child and do whatever they asked me to.
Yesterdays events aren't pleasant. After I watched my sister go to her room, I directly went to my room and sat at my bed to absorb everything that had happened.
I wanted to follow my sister to her room to comfort her but... we aren't that really close to each other. I know that I should have comforted her since she is my one and only sister but then I want to give her space.
I have always known that we can't have everything we want in this world since not everyone is lucky enough to be born and get what they want.
We are different in so many ways. I am shy while she's outgoing. She isn't afraid to tell what she thinks while I'm not. Furthermore, she's tall, fair and beautiful while I'm petite, my skin isn't tan but not white either and many said I'm pretty but I know they are just feeding me lies since I believed that I'm just average looking.
Mostly think that we aren't sisters because of how different we looked but I know to myself that we are since I got my looks from my father while she got my mother's.
A while ago I woke up from bed and since I love to waste my time, I stared at the ceiling of my room to think. After all the things I have thought I realized that I should forget everything about him, if I want this feeling not to go any deeper.
And guess what? I should start now. I got up from my bed and showered to get ready for class. It's 7am and my class starts at 7:30.
Today I wear my favorite long sleeved shirt and jeans paired with my sneakers. I applied make up which only consists of toner, sun block then pressed powder and tint. I didn't do my eyebrows since I looked so horrible when I do it. After getting ready, I went out of the room and go down to eat breakfast.
I ate my breakfast in the dining room in usual silence. No one is here only me, my parents usually go to work so early so its not a surprise not to see them here. And my sister is probably locking herself in her room.
So.... it's just you and me... food.
I finished my breakfast in 10 minutes and went to school for another 15 minutes with my driver since my parents are always paranoid that I'll get myself killed by our family's adversary when they don't even kill girls. So the matter is just between them, boys.
I got down from the car and bid my driver goodbye when I saw that we have arrived in school. And there I saw him....
The man who's every girls dream. He's handsome and he is very well aware of it because he once winked at me when he caught me staring at him and it's embarrassing but the fine lady in me, I ignored him and pretended that I just happen to see him.
He is smart, really smart and three years older than me so he's a senior student and will be graduating this year.
Some says that he's a genius and I am very well aware of that fact infact he have proven himself too many times to count. His family is way wealthier and have more influence than us. That's why my father hated them but I know that it's just not that, something deeper is involved thus, making a conflict between them. *sigh*
My thoughts are wandering too much. Anyway since it's the first day of school and I don't want to spoil it. I walk towards him since I have to walk past him to go to my building. I didn't bother to fasten my walk since teachers are always late and sometimes absent on first day of classes.
I pretended that I didn't see him and got myself busy with my phone when I got nearer to him but when I was about three steps past him to the building. He called me.
