Chapter 3: Aris likes to complain?

Gabriela glanced at her phone that had just rang, the woman sighed when she found her mother's name on the screen of her phone.
Gabriela glanced at the wall clock that was already showing one o'clock in the morning, her forehead wrinkled when she saw her mother who suddenly called.

Or something happened to mom and dad? Thought the woman.
Because her cell phone kept ringing then inevitably Gabriela immediately picked up her mother's phone call.
"Hello?"
"Honey, are you asleep?"
"No, why not?"
The one on the other side blushed at the daughter's words, "Uwwww apparently you haven't slept, ehmm is mom bothering you?"
Gabriela shook her head, "no. What's Up, Mom?"
"Before I tell you why I called you, I want to congratulate you on your wedding, which is now three years old. I did not expect if you have released your daughter to build a household with her husband for three years."
Gabriela was silent and did not give any response to the congratulations on her wedding anniversary from her mother, the woman just stared at some files that she still had to work on again.
"Hopefully you and Aris will get along as well as before, hopefully you will also quickly get a baby. I can't wait for my grandson -"
"Then why didn't you just tell Briel to get married, isn't he already mature enough to get married. If you get married, you will soon have grandchildren."

"Gabriela, aren't you ready to be a parent? Your marriage has been three years but why don't you decide to have a baby, you and Aris are both healthy and there is no obstacle to having offspring. Did you put it off on purpose?"
"Yes, Ma'am. I deliberately postponed it because Aris and I both have a busy life that cannot be left behind. If we have children which one of you should stop working, especially if I get pregnant. I couldn't help but have to stop working and switch professions to become a housewife and only take care of my children and husband-"
"Isn't that the duty of a woman, if she is married then her duty is only to take care of her husband and child. You don't have to work anymore, La. Because Aris will work for you and your children later."
Gabriela shook her head even though the mother didn't know what she was doing, "no mom, for now maybe I'm not ready to drop everything and choose to conceive a child. I haven't, mom. So don't push me."
On the other side, Gabriela's mother sighed, "Well, if that's your decision. I'm not going to force you to have a baby, I want you to be happy in your own way. Mom and dad won't force you, La. Having children is not as easy as imagined, mother can accept if you are still delaying to have a baby after all you are still very young so still have a long time to have offspring."said Gabriela's mother at length.
"Thank god you understand."
Actually, that's not Gabriela's reason for delaying having a baby, it's been said that if she really doesn't want to conceive a boy she doesn't love, don't you understand?

Gabriela sighed, " what is this mother talking about, who is spending time with Aris. I'm working on an office project that I haven't finished yet."

"Are you crazy, isn't today your wedding anniversary. You should have spent your long nights with Aris but why are you so busy with your work. I really don't think about you, La. Is there anything more important to you than work? It's your wedding that matters why you don't celebrate."
"Couples out there must have celebrated their wedding anniversary romantically then why not with you. Aris has even taken the time not to come to work to prepare your wedding anniversary party, but why do you seem to ignore your wedding anniversary."

"No, what happened to you so you asked if Aris complained to mom. What Aris told her mother."
