Chapter 85: Chapter 85: Suicidal Strategy
A while ago, when Shu Feng bravely pointed his spear towards the Merged Twin Devil and showinh a confident smile, he isn't just merely showing a front but have the capital to be confident at that time.
While gripping his Wrath, he secretly attached the Tribulation Lightning Talisman into it without anyone noticing. Even the First Devil who coveted for his weapon didn't manage to spot the Talisman at the gripping part of the spear.
At that time, he only has two chances before his Aegis got destroyed so he needs to carefully arrange his plan step by step in order to successfully win the fight.
His confidential stature surely infuriated his enemy which made the latter attack in rage resulting in Shu Feng being blown away.
And this is where his plan took it's first step. He purposely let go of his Wrath making it look like he accidentally loss his grip and made it fall to the ground. He wanted the spear to be stationed to where he is standing so that it would be easier in the long run and he wouldn't need to make any adjustments to be aligned with it but due to the shockwave that was caused by the punched of his enemy, the spear was slightly blown away to his right.
At that time, he dozed off for a few moments thinking that he needs to make some adjustments causing him to let his guard down for just a few seconds, but that small time gave his enemy great advantage to sneak on him!
And at that time, it was the most crucial part of his plan and that is to totally make his Aegis explode!
At first, he is not aware that some Armors or Weapons at a certain grade would cause an explosion greater than it's assumed power once it was destroyed and only got to know about this information when he acquired to UG what would happen if his Aegis reach it's limit.
He gulped back then since the explosion would be enough to kill those at the Soul Emperor Realm! He swear back then that he would not let his Aegis reach it's limit so that it won't kill him while he is using it, but the fight with the Merged Twin Devil make him betray his own pledge.
However, he knows that this is the only way in order to carry out his plan successfully. He would die if he cannot kill the Merged Twin Devil so why not used the chance to kill your enemy despite the cost of it!
In his previous world, he learned how to not give up in every situation as long as their is still a trace of hope you can hold on to. Even if it means being a slave, he still manage to survive despite knowing that his life is not in his own hands.
And right now that he has strength, why would he just give up without even putting up a fight just because he couldn't beat his enemy? Even if it means revealing your aces, it won't matter as long as you live.
Although using something like the Tribulation Lightning Talisman would make him a treasure trove and could possibly attract unwanted attentions, it won't matter if he is already dead.

The answer is simple, if he could arrange himself in a straight line with his wrath then the Merged Twin Devil would surely appear in front of him making the latter position himself unconsciously between Shu Feng and his Wrath.
He wouldn't dare to be this hundred percent sure that the Devil would be in front of him but ever since the Twin Devil merged, they only charged forward and attack him right in front which made Shu Femg confident about his prediction.
And just as he expected, when he moved slightly to the right which seemed like he is dodging, the Twin Devil instantly reacted and change his attack pattern just to fatally injure Shu Feng and this desire made him unconciously move slightly to the right.
And that is when everything was finally put in the track of his plan.
With that last strike, his Aegis reached it's limit making it explode magnificently which caught everyone off guard and made the Merged Twin Devil got blown away straight ahead from Shu Feng. This made his enemy flew towards his spear in a perfect straight way and closing their distance with each other!
Shu Feng is prepared for this moment thus he took his Gluttony and pierced it to the ground strongly and grip the hilt tightly in order to prevent himself from being blown by the explosion. But this action of his cost him a lot! Since being close to the explosion means sustaining the most damage and taking into consideration that the power from the Aegis reaching it's limit was something that could even kill those at the Soul Emperor Realm!
He is aware of it all but if he let himself got blown away, he won't be able to caught hia enemy off guard.
Just like that, Shu Feng suffered great damage that made his Internal Organs got destroyed causing him to puke blood.
At that time, the injury made his body crave for a rest but he still forced himself to persevere just a little bit more!
And with his determination, he willed his Wrath to pierced the Merged Twin Devil! And just like how a loyal subordinate hearing it's master's call, it flew proudly while paving it's way to accomplish what he is task to do.

With a blood splurting, the spear successfully nailed itself at the off guard Merged Twin Devil that was still being blown away by the explosion and by the time it had reacted, the weapon already pierced him thoroughly!
Shu Feng knows that he would be greatly weakened after suffering the power of the explosion directly without any protection and thus his control over his wrath would also be in turmoil.
So he tried at all cost to make the Twin Devil position himself between him and his Wrath. He cannot afford to make any gumble to control his spear at any direction when he is injured since it might give his enemy some time to react and dodge his spear.
The Twin Devil is someone at the Peak of Battle Emperor and the explosion only has the power of someone at the Soul Emperor Realm and only when his enemy is caught off guard would he be able to properly pierced him with his spear.
Just take for example if Shu Feng wasn't able to align himself with the spear which means that the Twin Devil will also not be aligned with his weapon. And if that really is the case then he needs to command his wrath to make a attack slantly in order to successfully pierced his enemy but that would mean that the distance it needs to cover would be much more greater that when it attack straightly and this would mean that his enemy would have a chance to react before the spear pierced him. Although it is a small chance, Shu Feng still didn't want the Twin Devil to have any chance to dodging his spear at all cost!
And the fact that he is weakened would mean that his control would be disrupted which means their is also a chance for him to fail and that is not something he wanted to happen!
And after the Twin Devil got nailed by his spear, he just needs to wait for the explosion to reside down and let the enemy come to him himself so that he could inject Chaos Energy to his spear and direct it to the Tribulation Lightning Talisman in order for it to be activated.
And just as he expected, the angered Devil charged at him after being rendered helpless at his Wrath. His enemy cannot take the spear out if his body at all! Without his consent, even Emperors would not be able to control his weapon and make it budge an inch!
And after the Talisman was activated, everything was done and he emerged victoriously albeit paying a great cost for defeating his enemy.
That's why, this strategy of his is something that only a cornered beast would attempt to do. Because it is a hundred percent suicidal!
