I grasp my head in pain. The Temmies screams somehow cracked my glasses. Wait, I have my glasses?

'No, I don't. Did Bob fix my vision? And how the fuck are glasses never fucking noticed until you actually pay attention to them?! AND WHAT WAS THAT CRACKING SOUND THAT WAS IN FRONT OF MY FACE?!'
(Authors note: can confirm, actually completely forgot I was wearing glasses while I Was writing this.)
"R u al righ?" (Are you alright?) asked the closest Temmie.
"Y… yes, I am fine," I reply, hoping that they don't scream again. "Can all of you please be a little quieter though? That is probably why visitors leave so quickly…"
"Relly?!" (Really?!)
"Well, yeah, what would you do when you visit someone and they immediately start screaming, wouldn't you leave?"
"Id screm to!" (I'd scream too!) yells a second Temmie.
I touch my face, thinking to check my glasses that are no longer there. "Well, that is unique to all of you as a race of monsters. The other monsters don't think like that."
"Relly?" (Really?)
"You asking if what I am telling you is true or not isn't going to suddenly make it false…" I reply, now looking at the Temmie Shop. "What is in there?" I ask, as the Temmie Shop can't only have Temmie Flakes all of the time, right?
"Temie flaces!" (Temmie Flakes!) The Temmie I was talking with earlier chose to follow me.
I sweat drop. "O… Oh." I can't help but say in surprise. 'No wonder she never got into college until Frisk came along despite being here so early, she refuses to sell anything but Temmie Flakes!' I think to myself.
"I see that the only thing you have here is the Temmie shop, right?"
"Ye!" (Yes!)
I sweat drop. "Where do all of you even live?"
"De wil!" (The wild!)
I sweat drop again. "The main reason people don't come here is because there isn't anything to do here. There isn't a place to eat, there isn't a place to sleep, there isn't a place to work!" I scold the Temmies around. "If you want visitors, give them a reason to come and a way to stay!"

Silence. Nobody said a word.
…
Then suddenly…
Cheering.
"Vistor gav uss a wae to get morr vistors! Yaya!" (Our visitor gave us a way to get more visitors! Yay!)
"He knos! He knos!" (He knows! He knows!)
"We has Two gt to worc!" (We have to get to work!)
(Authors note: thank god i decided to write a translation of what they are saying afterward, fucking hell they are indecipherable)
Cheers of "Yaya!" and "Tank U!" started to ring through my ears like a battlefield explosion, I can't stop myself from covering my ears. Suddenly, the Temmies wen't quiet.
"Righ, righ, he said vistor no lik loud" (Right, right, he said visitors don't like loud noises.)
'Ughh, fuck, it hurts,' I complain in my head. 'I've spent too much time here for nothing! I need to get out of here ir I will suffer permanent hearing damage!'
"W.. well, everyone, I need to get t-to Hotland to find work, so I have to leave," 'Fuck, is my condition so bad that I start to stutter? Ugh…'
And with a last screaming "Tank u!", I run as fast as I can out of the hellhole known as Temmie Village.
…
"Ugh," I groan as a bony hand violently rubs my ear, in an attempt to get the ringing out of them. "I don't think I am going to go back there for a while."
As I let off the hand from my ear, I look around to where I've run off to.
A… pool? And why is it so dark?
"Hmmm…" For some reason, I can't remember exactly where in Undertale this is. Well, I mean, obviously it's in Waterfall, but where in Waterfall? And what if it is an entirely new area that I just don't remember?
As I summon my hand and jump on it, I hear a splash.
"Hm? Is there something else in here?" I think to myself.
I float right along, slower, since I can't see to well yet. Thank Bob I did, because very soon, a wall appeared in front of me with an Echo Flower.
"BOO!" It screamed.
I simply sweat dropped at the poor "Jumpscare" that some kid probably tried to set up.
"Well, at least I know where I am now," I say to myself. "The exit should be right over here."
"Over here!" The Flower repeated.
I ignored it as I headed to the next room.
The room was full of Echo Flowers, and I just floated along.
"Your majesty?" A questioning tone.
"Yes?" Replied Asgore's deep voice.
"What happened at the lab?"
Silence
"What happened at the lab, Asgore?"
"That's confidential."
"I don't have enough authority even as a Judge?"
"Not even my wife had the authority when she was still queen."
And with that ominous note, the conversation ended.
'First of all, real great place to talk about confidential information, where the very plants hear your words,' my satirical but true thoughts fill my head. 'Second of all, what happened? Hmmm…'

This time, I don't almost fall into the huge pit in front of me.
"Well, at least that's progress, but why isn't there a bridge here?" I think aloud as I float across with my hands. "I know the timeline is different, but this seems like an essential spot to have a bridge."
Soon, there is a giant mountain in front of me.
"This… is the place Undyne fights Frisk in the neutral and pacifist route." I say aloud. "Almost there," I smile
I completely forget my hands and run forward in my slight excitement. I'm almost at the lab! I can start to integrate myself into society!
I barely notice that there isn't the giant mechanical sign saying "Welcome to Hotland!" As I rush forward on foot.
The sentry station isn't there either, nor if the water cooler.
Now it starts to settle on me. I slow as I reach the water cooler, even though the lab is right in front of me. "Why is nobody here? Even when I went through the most desolate places in Waterfall, there was still a Temmie or two hiding around.
"Why is it so quiet?" I worry. I start to slowly approach the lab.
"Is it about what I heard from the flowers?"
I reach the lab door and put my hand forth. The door retracts without me touching it and reveals…
"A cliffhanger! Hahaha!" Our MC laughs at his not real camera.
