Chapter 3: Evolve?
Locke sneakily maneuvered from bush to bush and found himself looking at a 2-meter tall goblin standing menacingly. It watched and guarded the village entrance cautiously. His shock only grew further when the goblin took notice of his existence. It had a face that looked like it was ready for battle as he eyed Locke directly in the eye. It soon began to bend its knee and break the ground below with the force it pushed. He had reached Locke in barely a few seconds and was about to land a serious blow with his rugged spear. Locke could not react in time for the attack and could only hope he would live. At that moment one of his wings landed on the ground as he felt a massive amount of pain surging in his body. He felt a mix of emotions, but mostly anger and rage. He wanted to kill the menacing goblin for what it had did, but he had no idea what he could do. But as he was raging in pain and agony, he had gone into a hidden berserker mode.

As he felt power coursing through his body, he realized he had to end things quickly with the goblin before his luck runs out. The goblin who was about to lung his spear directly into Locke's abdomen saw his pre disappear. He sweated coldly as he looked back and could see a little dragon smirking sinisterly, he had now realized he messed up. It was too late as Locke had plunged him into a burning inferno using 200 MP. Locke sighed as his short transformation was about to end, but before he could take a breath he saw the goblin was still alive. It was living on its last strand of life, it's entire body was burned to a crisp and damaged to an unfixable state. But it wanted to act out revenge against Locke while he was tired, unfortunately, Locke had caught on to the situation. He Immediately decapitated the goblin while finally laying down to rest.

Locke grew surprised by the notification in his head. He decided to check out what he could evolve into, there was a 100% possibility it would increase his strength.

Narrowing down his options, he went with the Baby Corrupted Dragon as his final choice. It had a defense below the Earth Dragon, but it made up with the immense speed, damage, and stamina it had. Locke felt his heart race as he clicked confirm just after he quickly went into hiding. He fell into an unconscious state immediately after his body was forcefully molded into a different shape.
*1 day later*
Locke woke up from his deep slumber and groaned. His body had not been moved in 2 days, he would have to adapt accordingly as he wanted to walk normally again. He went towards the pond he had first seen his reflection in, it was also the pond where he killed his first goblin. He looked down and saw a 5-meter tall figure that dwarfed his previously 1-meter tall figure. It seemed as though Corrupted Dragons were much larger than fire dragons, incredibly so. He also saw that his scales now had a bluish tint that faded into black. He could see two horns protruding through his head, they were blue and black just like the rest of his body. They made him look even more intimidating than he already is, his face alone could cause an entire village to evacuate. While he gazed at his majestic figure, he realized he should also look at his status.

He was impressed at his amazing stat boost that was further pushed by his evolution. He felt no doubt he could easily take care of that 2-meter tall goblin which terrorized him beforehand. He also noticed he received a new gift called [ANALYZE] which he guessed would let him determine the strength of his enemies. He thought it was most likely the old man who gave him this new gift. He was grateful as this would allow him to know his opponent better, a useful tool in battle. While he was looking back at his stats again, his senses tingled and he could tell a goblin was hiding behind a tree sweating bullets. He decided to roar at the goblin and frighten it, this would give him a chance to check its stats.

This guy seems to have pretty low stats despite his level, it must because of his species. Locke gazed at the goblins stats, but he was curious about the class of the goblin being none.
It seems that these goblins I could gain a class that might further boost our strength. I'll have to look further into this, but I should first test my new abilities. Locke quickly decapitated the goblin with his tail that moved at lightning speeds, he was going to find a place to train. He wandered further into the forest until he found a large cave that was 20 meters tall and 30 meters wide, He had entered the cave without knowing someone powerful had noticed him after he evolved.
