Chapter 1: IN THE BEGINNING.....

it was a cold evening country C had just entered the winter season and it was freezing. luckily for Richard the school season was over and he was at home as usual. In the small room dimly lit by a candle flame he was reading his book they were his only escape from his miserable life. Bit he wouldn't tell anyone that, "Richard! Richard!! Richard!!! " little Jane called his name as she ran to his door with her little feet. "Mom's calling you'' she said as she pried his door open. Without looking back he replied " what for?" "there are visitors in the living room". standing up from his chair he blew on the candle flame and it flickered a little before it went off. He walked to the living room and immediately he walked in he saw his father sitting on the sofa with his hands on his face. He had never seen him like that before, his father was known to be a cold man who ruled his house with a heavy hand. But now Richard could see for the first time in his life other emotions on his father's face. "Richard come sit down, I want to introduce you to some people " his mother managed to say. He sat down feeling confused, and the man and woman he had seen now looked at him with heavy eyes. He could not understand he had never met these people in his life but the way they looked at him made him feel like he was the most precious thing to them. Who could they be and what did they want, these questions kept swirling in his mind and before he could ask the man lifted his head and with tears in his eyes he said "hello Richard we are your biological parents".
