Covering Ryan behind him, Ferrick glared at the group in front of him. His sword, waiting to taste the blood of man.

Ferrick not only had to fight but also keep Ryan safe, so he had no choice but to fight like this. There was one gunman in the enemy group, and he would cause serious trouble for him, but things were what they were.

"Fight him!" Not showing any remorse over just pushing one of his team members to death, Green grabbed another knight and pushed him toward Ferrick.

The two High Knights wanted Ferrick to exhaust himself and then attack, as this way they wouldn't be in any danger. As for the lives of the Intermediate and Junior Knights in the group, it didn't matter to them. A High Knight was several times more valuable than these two groups of knights.

Suddenly, a burst of laughter rang in the area, and not long after, a being twice the size of an already massive Ferrick landed on the ground.

Green turned around to see who it was, and the next moment, his eyes trembled violently.

Green didn't even think twice and immediately charged in the opposite direction, not even informing his teammate.

Victor laughed at seeing Green run, but he didn't give any chance of escape as he took the knife out of his belt cover and threw it.

Victor threw the knife in such a way that the knife didn't pierce through Green's skin but cut the area below his right knee, tripping Green.

As for the second High Knight, he didn't run but grabbed Ryan and took him, hostage.

Victor's eyes turned cold when he saw his nephew being taken, hostage. He took another knife out and threw it.

Before the man could even understand, the knife pierced through his brain, and the world around him turned dark.

"Don't even think of taking my nephew hostage," Victor stated, and he coldly approached the corpse.

Victor gently picked Ryan up and checked him for injuries. After finding that there was no sign of any wounds, he breathed a sigh of relief, and then he went to the enemy's corpse.

Victor couldn't help but frown when he took off the helmet. The man was wearing the emblem of the Great Eagle Kingdom on his armor and helmet, but his features didn't match the brown skin and black hair, the indistinct features of the Kingdom's citizens. Instead, the man had dark skin and was bald.
