Write a reviewWhy does the book My Journey to Immortality Begins with Hunting look so strangely similar to this one? From the story's concept, in which the main character is initially a hunter, to the way the system functions by awarding him points for cultivating alongside his spouse.
It's still an early review from someone who has just read around 40 chapters, the story seems good, although there are some clichés in between but the story is good the characters are very well written and it's a nice blend of romance and Martial Arts, I am looking forward to it, though One complain, the main character is so strong, yet on the surface he is still living that same old life in the village posing as a hunter, iIbelieve he should progress into counties and capitals and become a domineering personality, Seems promising for now
Chapter 42, since I have to put up with the fact that the protagonist doesn't make an effort in the Cultivation and earns the stat points by his wife as if this were an eroge game, at least I hoped that the convenience of the plot was off the plate, not that the author put steroids on him and every time he needs something it falls from the sky, He only mediates a few greetings at a time with an old man and gives him an advanced cultivation technique and then a mansion and all his wealth accumulated in that region alone The biggest lie in this play is that the reincarnated was a war correspondent, because he behaves like a naïve 18-year-old, who knows nothing about life
Es entretenida, tiene un inicio horrible que te dan ganas de abandonar la lectura pero después de cierto punto empieza a mejorar y te deja esperando más..
I was interested in the beginning, but around 60 chapters in the MC adopts the child of his neighbour who was beaten to death, then names his pet Xiao bai(little white). The master of the Chen family made the MC the young master, so he brings his two wives, and now some 8 year old villager to live in his mansion… Weird af Chinese authors always abruptly adopting young kids, even though none of the audience of these types of novels should be interested in their twisted family fantasies or their dogshit dialogue and interactions.

Mixed feelings about this novel. It follows a very similar plot to many other novels of this specific genre, which isn't anything new when it comes to Chinese novels but this one doesn't really try to innovate in any way as far as I can see, instead it kinda feels like a downgrade. The pacing is kinda rushed, the plot is cliche, worldbuilding is eh, even the martial arts are kinda glossed over. The interactions between mc and harem are also very watered down and uninteresting. I really want to give this a fair chance but so far I am very disappointed.
