'What is this box?' Jin wondered.
He tried to touch it, but his hand just passed through it.
He looked past the translucent box and saw that he was outside beside a large tree now.
And worst of all it was raining. Thankfully he the tree protected him from most of the rain.
He sat up and felt his entire body soar.
'What happened to me I was reading the ending of the Strongest System before I saw a flash the next thing I know I am in the middle of Jungle and it is raining.'
Suddenly memories that shouldn't exist in his brain started to pope up.
'Shao Clan.....failed to awaken the Family martial spirit...banished to the mortal realm ....suicide.'
It did not take long for Jin to understand his situation as he was an avid reader of web novels.
He had actually crossed over and he even got a system.
Jin was ecstatic. All his life he wanted a system. He always felt that life on Earth was too dull and boring.
'If you are going to die anyway why work hard,' is what he would say to himself, he even compares life to a castle of cards no matter how magnificent you make it one small gust of wind will ruin it all.
Naturally, with such ideology at his core, Jin was always lazy, an anti-social shut-in who spends most of his time reading web novels.
Jin felt that if he had a system with a sure reward and hard work monitor, he could maybe be a normal person. But as delusional as Jin was he knew Sytems don't exist.
Who would have thought that after re-reading the Strongest System for the 100th time he would crossover to another world and even get a System.
From memories of his predecessor, he knew that this world had a way to achieve immortality. But to Jin that was just a bonus.

He looked at the transparent windows again.

From the memories of his predecessor, he knew that Essence Cultivation, Body Cultivation, and Soul Cultivation were the 3 most common paths taken to achieve immortality.
Essence Cultivation is basically the cultivation of inner strength that is Qi. It is the most common and least expensive path to immortality.
Body Cultivation is the cultivation of the flesh, it is much more expensive then Essence path and is much more painful so it is rare to see people go down this path.
Soul Cultivation is the cultivation of soul strength, this path is much more expensive than the Body path as resources needed to improve Soul strength is fare rarer than those need for the body and essence. It is also the most dangerous path as one small mistake might lead to your soul collapsing.
Essence path is an allrounder as it increases the body strength and the soul strength as the cultivation goes up.
Jin was naturally curious as to why his Essence, Body and Soul Cultivation was sealed.
So he selected Essence Cultivation.

Sighing he realized he was in a pickle, he was in the middle of god knows where with no survival skills, food or shelter.
Forget food, the sun will soon set then it will naturally get cold, without fire he would freeze to death in the rain.
Suddenly he looked at the silver ring in his left ring finger and remembered that the Shao Clan did not fully leave him to die, they gave a space ring with enough dry food for 6 months and 20 Yuna stones to use as currency.
Using the knowledge of his predecessor he explored the insides of the ring to see a lot of dry food, 20 white pebbles(Yuna Stones), and a blanket.
'Well, at least I have this much.'
Since the food was no longer an issue Jin continued to explore the interface of the system.
He had already noticed the Beginners gift pack but he wanted to make sure he knew everything about the system before he opened it.
