Chapter 9: You're Different
On her way to the forest, she acted as natural as possible and clever in interacting with other people. From afar, Smith can see her but did not mind on where she was headed, for he's going to have an important meeting.

"Seikatsu?" calling out his name in a low voice. "Hey Seikatsu? It's me Claridad" but no one answered. When she turned her head, she found a bougainvillaea which is blooming beautifully. She decided to pick some. But when she tried, its thorn cut through her finger.
"Ouch!" I was so excited that I forgot it has thorns.
The excitement took away her cleverness in an instant. She look for a small bandage inside her bag to cover the cut.
Seikatsu can smell the most delicious aroma of his food even from a great distance. A human blood! It smell so sweet, how wonderful. Feels like it has been ages since I've tasted it. With a sinister smile and a lustful eyes he followed the trail of the scent and found himself behind Claridad. He glared at her with his lustful eyes.
Suddenly she heard a crisp sound of dried leaves behind her, like someone has stepped on it. As a reflex, she stood up facing the person and hiding her hand behind. But when she looked, she was startled for it was Seikatsu. Her heart raised a strong beat in surprise, took a step backward, but she hit the thorn again. Unfortunately, on her buttocks causing her to leap in front of him.
He caught her waist in a graceful manner causing an electricity to run through her spine. Seeing how close they are, Clari's face was burning red. He looked her in the eye, the glistening deep brown eyes of Clari made him feel relaxed and somehow forgot that she's a prey. He sighed deeply and release her.
Feeling bashful, she simply said, "Thank you!"
"You're Welcome!"
Clari's mind was out of space, still unable to process what has happened.
Seikatsu snap his finger in front of her face which reminded her of what she has brought.
"Hey uhmm.. I brought some food, medicinal herbs and this clothes.." She handed it over to Seikatsu.
"Arigatogozaimashita" [thank you] bowed his head.
Wow! He's really something different, compare to other guys that I've known. Seeing how polite he is, Clari was ashtonished and can't help blushing. She let out her cutest smile and said "You're always welcome"
CuteST. With capital S and T, that means it was her MOST appealing smile. Are you trying to seduce him Claridad?
Seikatsu was dazed by her smile, tilt his head with his eyes narrowed, and said "Kimyona [strange], You are very different"
She widen her eyes. Her heart skip a beat, feeling that they have the same thoughts. That's what I've said behind my back. Does he have an ability to read minds? So far, he has always surprise me. Her face burn in red even more as she think about it.
