Chapter 5: A team that will change the history
(3 years later)
*Clink*Clink* two swords are striking each other in an abandoned training ground with one figure moving extremely fast; it disappeared in a lightning break as soon as it appears, while the other figure was even more incredible, it's like the figure could see the sword moves; it dodged, blocked, parried the sword coming at it in an incredible fast motion.
First figure was wearing the old headband of konoha, while the second figure was wearing the tattered and slightly torn headband of uzu
"Stop"
*Huff*Huff*..."to think that you would grow to this stage in just 3 years"
*Huff*Huff....."well i have been training really hard you know"
"This kind of a progress don't come with hard work, sigh...do you know at what age i reached at the level you are at right now?, 18 and you are not even 12 till next week, even i trained really hard you know" the first figure stopped to take a breath
"AAgh"*Huff*Huff*...i am so deadbeat tired,forget it, go home and take a rest we are going to academy in 3 hours"
"Academy? why are we going to academy?"
"Sigh...don't ask, I am assigned fresh out of boot camp genins to train to"
"W-What?... didn't you say that jonin commanders don't take academy three man teams"
"You punk, do you think i want this, it's because you are my disciple i have to take part in academy three man team, besides you know right; konoha strength lies in its number and the ability to work together with that number" (think of this way you are playing Basketball against Lebron James he is going to trash you, but if you play 5 vs 1 you can beat him, heck with good team chemistry you will trash him; there is strength in number and team chemistry increase that strength)
"I know konoha's strength lies in its number, but.... what i got to do with you getting academy genin teams?"
"Because you are the disciple of the famous white fang and also the incredible asset to this village; not only you are somehow terrifyingly talented in fuinjutsu you are also incredibly talented in ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu your kenjutsu more or less will be at my level in just 1 year or maybe less; all of this make you incredible fighter but second kyuubi jinchiruki is your sister heck our most talented young shinobi namikaze minato call you nii san"
"Still waiting for my answer old man, what does all of it got to do with me?"
"Because you are such an incredible asset, you need to learn how to fight in a group, so that you could add to konoha's strength, there are several ways to do that; Hokage-sama and i discussed every single one of those ways and we agreed that the most efficient way to get you used to work together in a team we go back to basics, that where academy three man team comes"
"It just.....sigh, i don't wanna train some kids naive enough to believe they can conquer the world only to run away at the first sign of true danger, they can't even kill dammit !!!"
"Even i couldn't kill and i was naive enough"
"You were special kid, the only reason i started your training so that i could decide weather you are a threat that need to be clean up or an ally that we need to put our guard against"
"Now, i am not?"
"Na, in these three years i guess i got used to you"
"Alright, since we are going to academy i guess i will make something to eat for lady-kushina and minato"
"Do whatever you wish, you have 3 hours for yourself, go knock yourself out, i am going to my wife"

"NII-Saan what are you doing here at the academy"...said now 11 year old uzumaki kushina
"I assume you came here for giving us whatever is in your hand?".....said 11 year old once in a generation shinobi namikaze minato
Renji just smiled and ruffled their hairs "it is part of the reason i made something for both of you"
Everyone looked at kushina with jealousy, renji was quite famous in academy as the disciple of well known white fang of konoha, minato was recognized as the most talented shinobi of his generation and to think both love kushina with everything they have; that is why the bullying kushina had to endure was too much and to top it off neither renji nor minato interrupted it, kushina tomato like face didn't helped either; but all it does is make the students shiver in fright whenever she got angry
Renji looking at kushina and minato happily eating lunch was quite gratified and to think that kushina life was stopped the moment her mentor died and she was chosen as the next jinchiruki, it just wasn't fair; when renji found out about it he fought tooth and nail with hokage who did nothing but dodged his attacks he didn't even let his anbu bodyguards interfere, until renji was calmed down with kushina's hug; for an entire week kushina cried, she was with renji 24x7 and sakumo never interrupted renji and ask him to train, after that week kushina changed her stamina which was quite high in itself became something like she is bunny on drugs; her chakra became strange as well, it became something comparable to renji, to which renji always thought was something impossible
But the thing that renji felt strange is the emotion of the so-called kyuubi he sensed anger, killing intent, loneliness,but he didn't sensed a single evilness from kyuubi a being who was told to be embodiment of the very evil itself; he sensed emotions since he was little; of course he trusted it more than he trust his eyes and ears, and so he started investigation, in 2 years he found every single bit of information he could find on kyuubi with the help of personal library of senjus, konoha public library and the personal library of uzumaki mito as well; during the process he found quite the bit about things like their ancestor indra, ashura, first ever uzumaki who is the creator of sole SS rank fuinjutsu there is in this world, sage of six path, rinnegan and the almighty clan of Ōtsutsuki, even though he found out everything he never act on it, he wasn't jinchiruki kushina is, it's her job and when she is ready to act he will be there protecting her, afterall its his job as her bodyguard and big brother.
"So why are you here anyway, you didn't come here just to give us lunch right?"....asked kushina
"Na, sensei is assigned a three man academy team".....said renji smiling
"Woah...never thought the famous white fang of konoha will have a team of his own, i bet they will be awesome"...said minato with stars in his eyes
Renji smiled become quite forced as he mumbled "not so awesome as you think"
"Nii san what are you mumbling about?"
"Nothing"...back into his smiling face
"Renji, it's time let's go".....came a indifferent voice who is looking down on kids
"Lady-Kushina, minato be good and study well alright"?
And with that, both Sakumo and renji disappeared in a lightning break
"woah nii san sure is awesome"....said kushina looking amazed by how he just disappeared
"Yes he sure is"...said minato although smiling but still shocked at how they were gone just like that

(Outside the gate of academy)
Renji was holding the paper with the name of the team he was part of, he was staring ahead at the academy all the while there was a silence in there, the atmosphere in here it's something like someone died
Sakumo was just in depression while renji right eye was twitching as they kept staring at the academy gate
"how can we be so unlucky"...asked renji without a single form of emotion as he kept staring at the academy gate
"Don't ask kid, i am asking the same question as you, how can we be so unlucky".....said sakumo while in depression
"Can we run away?, using the excuse of some urgent mission or something like that"
"Not a chance kid, i am very much assured that hokage-sama will never allow it"
"So we have no choice but to have these two in our team?".....asked renji sighing
"yes, and you know what the worst part is? they both are so good that i am very much assured that they will pass the genin test set up by us".....said sakumo sighing
"we are screwed right, i think it's hokage-sama's revenge on me for attacking on him during kushina's jinchiruki advancement"
"you know what; in normal time i would never have agreed to it, but now even i beginning to feel like it"
While both of them are in shock there is another person watching them from his office laughing his ass out
"Hahaha, to think they will reach this type of conclusion"
"Hokage-sama, don't you think its something over the line i mean these two clans were never together"....said an anbu who was kneeling in front of hokage he is also the one who gave the list of the student team to sakumo, which he thought was weird after all hokage always did it himself but he didn't question his lord orders till he found out why is he the one to deliver the list as soon as he delivered it he sunshined from there not daring to be there to face sakumo wraith
"Don't worry if i am not certain of sakumo's abilities to lead and his brat underlying ability to be a great leader and great potential for fighting i would never have done it, if someone who could change it all is these two, also don't tell me you don't think if these four work together konoha forces will be receiving an incredible team"
"Indeed hokage sama all three of the kids including sakumo are forces to be reckon with and something incredibly useful for konoha but i don-"
"Believe in me i know what i am doing"
"yes lord hokage"
Hokage was back to staring his crystal ball laughing while watching those 2 reactions
