Chapter 23: 23. There's News, Valeria.

They were by the balcony, Jose and Valeria. The fresh air was chilling and it tingled Valeria's skin. She was resting by the balcony, enjoying the fresh breeze when Jose found her. He had asked that they should meet there.

"Congratulations on making Alejandro one of our newest customer, Valeria." A soft smile appeared on his face, one so decent and genuine.

Valeria couldn't help but smile in response. She was proud of herself. "You know, I never got to stand up for myself like that." She confessed. "I looked Andrea in the face and beat her. I feel really proud."

"You see, Andrea isn't the only one you're going to look in the face and beat. You're finally going to show all your enemies who the new boss is. Do you understand?" He assured her.

Valeria allowed herself to relax in his presence, not allowing any feeling of doubt to stay in her mind. Jose was admiring the view from up there. Light were scattered nicely, brightening up the city down below.
