Chapter 139: Only woman in his heart

"Mr. Maximus, what are you -" Katherine felt troubled as he pulled her into himself further.

She felt troubled because that was exactly what she wanted too. Her body felt troubled by his sudden invasion that was almost giving her heart an erupting feeling.

Those were no freaking butterflies in her stomach, it was a freaking fireworks show.

After what felt like an eternity and Maximus thought this much sucking of her lips and tasting her was enough to calm his raging heart and thoughts, he finally pulled away, only enough to place his forehead on hers as they both breathed heavily into each other.

"I am sorry. But this is the only way I could think of calming you. I didn't mean to grab it... I didn't mean to touch you like that," Maximus said, and though he knew what he was saying wasn't worth believing and any sane woman would slap him again he was hoping for Delilah to not stay angry for long.
