Chapter 16: Imprisoned

Amelthia was deep in thoughts about everything she has gone through all these years and the people around her getting hurt because of her. From the day she followed her parents footsteps she always blamed and thought of this. Whoever cared for her would eventually end up dead or would get hurt in the end. She didn't had a lot of people around her just her parents and some people from her "WORK". She blamed herself for all the things that had happened. She regretted her decision.

Amelthia was brought back to reality when Felix knocked at the door.

KNOCK KNOCK

"Miss Amelthia you can have your lunch. I will be in my room."

Felix said from behind the door.

Amelthia waited for a while and then she heard footsteps fading meaning Felix has gone downstairs. She got up settled her hairs and went down in the kitchen to see food placed on the counter. She looked around, as usual alone and empty. She released a deep heavy sigh and sat on the chair to eat.
