Chapter 397: A Little Bonus Chapter (Xander & Samantha)

"I heard."

Samantha who was looking after Thunder that night heard Xander's voice behind her.

"What is it?" she asked as he approached her.

Xander lovingly caressed Thunder's small face.

His features are starting to show and it is no doubt that he is Xander's son for he looks just like him when he was still a child.

Thunder is now two and he was a very charming one.

"You look so tired," Samantha commented touching the bags under his eyes.

Xander looked at her before pulling her to the balcony of the room.

The night was chilly but at teh same time not too cold.

It was the comforting coldness from a whole day's tiring work.

"I am, the hospital suddenly turned busy because of the Empire trying to accept more patients even those of lower ranks just so they could keep up with the falling stocks. And so the work become even more tedious."
