Chapter 135: Iceberg and Franky
"You are crazy." Iceberg stood up from his seat and shouted in shock. Even he didn't think that their battleground would be Enies Lobby.
Did they not know about Enies Lobby?
But Iceberg knew that someone like Liam would definitely know about Enies Lobby, maybe even more than him.
Liam shook his head and spoke.
"We are not crazy. Well, my Captain sometimes goes crazy but we are not that crazy. It's just that we are confident in our strength."
"We have been improving at an amazing rate and now is the time to test it. Besides, if our battle destroys Enies Lobby, Marines would have more reason to fear us."
"That means our status will go even higher in most people's minds. They wouldn't even dare to fight us."
Hearing his idea, Iceberg didn't know how to reply. He was pretty sure by now that Liam was serious about it and looking at Luffy's expression, it seemed both were on board with this idea.
So, he couldn't really say something to convince Liam. Instead, he began to think about his brother.
In fact, if Straw Hat Pirates could really do that, it would be amazing. And, he wanted to believe that they could do it.
But he can't put his brother's life on the line based on this belief.
"I will talk to Franky about this. But, I am not sure if he will agree." Iceberg spoke.
"Also, tell him that if he stays on this island, he will never be able to make a ship that can reach Laughtale." Liam smirked as he spoke and stood up.
"About them, I will give you the full control to do whatever you want." Liam said while looking at Kaku, Khalifa, and Blueno.
It's not that he didn't like controlling them but it wasn't that useful. The only reason why he wanted to kill Lucci in the first place was because he was too deceitful.
Of course, being one of World Government agents, he should be just like that but that's exactly why he had to kill Lucci.
Iceberg stared at the three of them for a moment before shaking his head.
"I hope you can take care of them. If they do decide to kill me, I won't be able to fight back."
Liam chuckled and patted Luffy's shoulder.
"Don't worry, our captain is still here. Although he is a bit too carefree, I will ask him to keep his eyes on them."
Even though it had only been a month since they had started training Haki, Liam had to admit that Luffy's Haki talent was astonishing.
Originally, his Haki was still a bit normal considering just how long he trained. But after taking that medicine, he just realized even Sanji with his special devil fruit pales in comparison to Luffy's Observation Haki.
This might have something to do with the Voice of All Things that Luffy has but nonetheless, his Observation Haki could cover the entire Water Seven.
Liam specifically made sure that was the case before he came here.
"Hehe! I am awesome, right?" Luffy patted his chest and chuckled with a proud expression.
"I know, I know. Let's go now!"
Liam rolled his eyes and pulled Luffy out of Iceberg's office.
Iceberg sighed as he stared at the three of them but his heart was calm. For some reason, even without Straw Hats proving their strength, he has begun to believe in them.
"It seems like I need to convince Franky at any cost."
Iceberg muttered and his eyes suddenly shone brightly.
"Yes, that could work."
He made an evil smile and walked out of the office. As for the three of them, he naturally didn't care. Since Luffy could see their actions, he had no reason to care about their actions.
After a few minutes, he came to Franky Demolition House.
"Iceberg, why are you here?" Franky came out of his house. He was already notified about Iceberg's arrival but he didn't want others to know anything about his relationship with Iceberg.
So, he came out alone.
"Franky, do you want to take revenge for our teacher?" Iceberg opened his mouth and his words instantly shocked Franky.
His eyes opened wide as he asked.
"Do you know what you are talking about?"
"Do you want or not?" Iceberg asked.
"Of course, I want. I want to kill that Spandam bastard." Franky clenched his robust fists with anger flashing on his face.
"Just today, I found that there were three World Government Agents around me and one at the bar." Iceberg spoke with a solemn expression.
"What? Did anything happen to you?" Although he always disagreed with Iceberg, he also loved his brother very much. Even though they don't have a blood relationship, their relationship exceeds that.
"No, someone managed to defeat them. In fact, they helped me find out these agents. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't even know about their existence." Iceberg spoke.
"Who will help you fight the agents of the World Government? Don't tell me they want to pick a fight with World Government for you." Franky rolled his eyes and asked with a confused expression.
He didn't believe it for a moment but then, he thought about it and found that there shouldn't be anyone skilled enough to fight the agents from the World Government around Iceberg.
So, he definitely had the external help.
"It's Straw Hats." Iceberg revealed without any hesitation.
"You mean those guys? Why would they help you?" Franky realized the power of Straw Hats once again and was glad that he didn't attack them but it also confused him very much.
Because they were pirates it was hard to see a pirate crew trying to pick a fight against the World Government.
"You won't believe what happened." After that, Iceberg began to explain everything to Franky.
He naturally had full trust in Franky. That's why he even asked Franky to keep the blueprint of Pluton.
After he told Franky everything that Liam told him, Franky was so shocked that his jaws almost dropped to the ground.
He took almost five minutes to digest all the information that he just received.
Unlike with Liam, he wasn't making a conversation but rather just accepting the information. So, naturally, he was getting more and more shocked by the information, even more than Iceberg.
But, this information also greatly touched his heart.
In fact, he also didn't want to keep the blueprint of Pluton with him. While it might be a great weapon, it can be used by people with bad intentions if they get their hands on it.
Hearing about the agents that appeared in Water Seven just for the sake of those blueprints, he also understood just how far the World Government is willing to go for those blueprints.

Even if he doesn't get involved in the battle, the WG and Marines won't just let him live and they might even affect the lives of the Franky Family.

And, the opportunity was there. Straw Hats invited him to join their crew but leaving his family was a hard choice for him.
He despised Pirates so naturally, he didn't want to join them.
Iceberg saw his hesitation and finally made his last move.
"I know that you don't want to join the pirates because of what they did you in the past but are you still going to live in regret? Do you still want to remain a coward?"
"I know you hate pirates but believe me, that captain is different. I don't know about him is different but I am sure that they wouldn't be the type of people who will betray you."
"Franky, whether you join them or not, those agents will keep coming for us. They might not know about you right now but they will figure out our relationship soon."
"Once they do, they will try to get me through you. Your family will be affected because of this. I know you love the Franky Family and that's exactly why you need to leave with them."
"I know it is a blind trust that I am putting on Straw Hats. But whether it is mind or power, I feel like they can truly change the world."
"Franky, I have the feeling that their ship might have a chance to reach Laughtale with your help."
