Takashima Enterprise, one of the top 4 most powerful conglomerates in Japan, specializing in fashion, entertainment, construction, and electronics. Its current CEO and Owner is none other than, Hiroyuki Takashima, Evangeline's father. Evangeline being the only daughter, was groomed to one day take over the company.

As Evangeline was waiting for the driver to pick her up outside the gate when she heard voices behind the wall. " I know this is wrong but, I have fallen so madly in love with you! I-I also have something to say, ever since i met you,I've never been so interested in a girl all my life, I think I too, am falling in love with you!" Evangeline hearing their conversation thought, ' wait, is that Asuka and Kenji s voice?'. So she to confirm her assumptions, and to her horrible surprise. She caught her fiancé and a girl kissing under the sakura tree. Oh how romantic it would have been two people having a rendezvous under the sakura tree as cherry blossom petals fall from above. But for Evangeline, it was her worst nightmare come to life. Her fiancé had professed his love to her rival. Asuka Sumimoto, adopted-daughter of Ryusaki Sumimoto, CEO of Sumimoto insdustries.
Asuka Sumimoto was you run-off-the-mill female protagonist. Jet black hair, Big blue eyes, ruby red lips, small face, snow white skin and a petite figure, but unlike other protagonist her key feature was she had cup H boobs. She was the typical caring, loving and kind type. Smart and perseverant anyone who met here couldn't help but fall in love with her. Kidnapped as a baby and spent her life living in the mountains, after searching for 20 years her parents finally found her and declared her as their daughter. After battling with her evil step-sister for the right of inheritance and reveling various plots against her set by her sister, she emerged victorious, kicked her step- sister and step-mother out of the family and was declared the heir to the Sumimoto Industries. The typical protagonist story.
When Evangeline knew Asuka held interest in Kenji, she made every attempt to humiliate, ruin, threaten and even blackmail just for her to stop seeing Kenji. But alas as the fates are cruel, the more she tried to separate them the more they fell in love. Deep inside Evangeline knew this day would come. She saw it in Kenji's eyes. For he never looked that warm and caring in front of her. It was always the same aloof and cold expression. No matter how she tried to please him he never showed any affection towards her. She thought it was his personality and that she should not mind and just try her best. She thought the had time to work it out. She would try her best to be worthy to stand along him, to support him in every way possible. They had time for they were to be married anyway...
But looking at this scene her heart broke. It hurt so much she didn't realize a tears were begging to fall from her eyes. 'Where did she go wrong? 'She thought. 'She was no saint, she was kind to people who were kind to her and vengeful to people who wronged her, but she was smarter and more capable and more beautiful. So why her?!' She had to know. She had the right to know! She needed to voice out her questions or else the whys will never be answered and will forever wallow with the whys in her head. With anger and resentment in her heart, She wiped her tears and decided to confront them.
Evangeline: " Kenji?! Asuka?!
Kenji: *surprised immediately hides Asuka behind* Evangeline! What are you doing here?!
Evangeline: "What am i doing here?! What are you doing here kissing her?!"
Kenji: "its none of your business anymore. I am ending my engagement with you and marrying Asuka. "
Evangeline: "What?! why?! Why her?!What did i lack? What more should i do for you to look at me the same way you look at her? Why her? What did you see in her and not in me? I was the one who did all the dirty work for you to rise your company. It me who begged my father to support you when your cooperation was on the verge of bankruptcy. I sacrificed so much for you. What more do you want? After all i did for you and only you, Is this what I get? Your betrayal?!"
Kenji: " I know you did a lot for me. And i have deep gratitude for it. But i also know the horrible things you did to Asuka and that i cannot forgive! So if you don't want the public to know about your misdeeds and put shame upon your family then I suggest you backdown! In lieu for all of you've done for me and my family i will not pursue this matter, but if you still continue to make trouble don't blame me for being unreasonable!"
Evangeline:*narrows eyes* " are you threatening me?! the heir to the Takashima Enterprise, beloved daughter of Hiroyuki Takashima!? You do know your puny family is no match for mine? An if I remember correctly it was your family who begged my father to arrange the marriage! What nerve do you have to blackmail me?!"
Kenji: " It was their decision not mine. I have the right to marry the one i love! And the one I love is Asuka! And i do have the nerve to threat you because once your misdeeds are released lets see if you father can still hold the position as CEO. I heard you had an uncle how covets the position. Once your ruined he will be dragged along with you so you better think wisely of your actions."
Evangeline:* starts laughing maniacally* ahaha.. ahahaha! Asuka Sumimoto,Kenji Kawasaki just you wait. I will have my revenge on both of you!"
