Chapter 73: Sneak Peek

"Step-mom, are you ok?!" I sat up and held Rosalind.

"..." She didn't reply but her nostrils twitched a little.

"Damn it. Is she choking on her puke?" I flipped her over and spanked her back.

Glurg…

Rosalind threw up a little more and then became completely immobile.

"Seriously…" I checked whether she was okay and upon seeing that I hadn't become a terrorist killing vigilante, I finally relaxed. "You scared me step-mom."

I gently held her face and looked at her.

"..." Rosalind's unconscious visage, dirty with her own putrid vomit, was in full display infront of me.

"..." I stared at her for a while and would have continued if it weren't for the foul smell that was coming from my own clothes.

Quickly, I carried her to the monster table nearby and laid her down on it. And then I took off my shirt. "Is there a pillow or something?" I looked around for a bed or mattress or something alike.
