Chapter 119: A vengeful villain

Never in his life would Livian ever thought that he would one day understand Shera. He would never have made such a guess. Especially his first impression of her was not pleasant when she barged in, made a scene during The Qin Empire's banquet at Boulevard Palace, stole a necklace in a room full of people, and got away with it. 

"No, she did not steal it. It was her mother's and she had the right to retrieve it." He corrected himself audibly, remembering that Julius Qin had stolen Amanda Caron's jewelry drafts—one of which he had used to create that necklace. 

Once the words left his mouth, he didn't know whether to laugh or cry. First, he found something in common between him and Shera and understood how she felt. Now he was even saying things in her defense? Indeed, many things will change once one's eyes opened.
