It is a really good book with an interesting story line. There is solid character development throughout the book. The main issue is the cover. I would suggest a map of Fiveria or Ezaes as the cover to help get a better idea of the world, but otherwise it is great (by the way, my favourite character is Rhydian).
The MC, Is bad like really bad there is absolutely no reason for him to be the MC. He's not a strategist, he's not a sly profiteer, he's not charismatic. He's just a normal dude. That might sound good but no, It's really not because every time there's a problem he doesn't have the foggiest idea on how to fix it and walks around like a moron asking everyone how to fix it. When your going to write a novel from someone's perspective the novel will get boring if the MC is boring or stupid or just generally way less competent than his advisors at everything he's not good at anything. I understand not wanting your MC to be a garysue but making him boring with nothing he's good at is not the answer to a garysue, this novel would be a 5/5 for me if the MC was special in anyway, everything but the mc is done exemplary well the author clearly took his time to create this world and it shows but the MC for me takes it down to a three.....................................
Well written and explores the characters and world in a fluid and organic manner that ties in beautifully with the events of the book acheiving great harmony. Great characters, with fantastic backgrounds and interesting plot points. Hope the author continues the great work.
Please do not Drop the story …. Im so addicted! BIg Please - Will cry. Love absolutely everything about it! It Is such a refreshingly goOd historically based webnovel without any system or harem involved and I’m so so so here for it! ♥️
I am a very big fan of your work here "Darkwood". I see that you have studied feudal politics and etiquette. (if you have any books that helped you with writing interactions I would gladly know of it 😉👍) The world building isn't the most innovative, but it's not the focus of the story so it serfs it's purpose exceptionally well. The characters are very compelling and makes me want to see more interactions between them. Got a little taken back at the newest chapter when it came to Nella (can't see if that's the right spelling xD) and Brandon's relationship. (I have no qualms if you write some pg18 later 😉) The updating stability isn't the best but I don't blame you, take your time with the chapters 😁. Love the story and it's developments, can't really add anything more on that note. Very good writing quality if I haven't already said that (xD) Love your work hope you continue with it, can't give you any golden tickets so I'll peater you with some hearts instead 😉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Great story and even better kingdom/world building. I love how detailed the story gets when it comes to building and the pace is perfect. the mc isn’t OP so it much more realistic. Unfortunatey that also means there’s nothing unique about the MC - no intro of advanced tech, no cleverness - and as a result makes the story monotonous after a while.

Author has done in job building the story up without taking any shortcut. Would like to see further development of other characters apart from mc.
this story is amazing 👏theres lots of character development, the author doesn't add an meaningless things and it's a proper kingdom building novel I mean like PROPER

I've read every chapter so far it's a great book one of the best on this app I hope it stays free and it needs a better cover to attract more people other than the cover nothing is wrong with it

At chapter 13 so far their are few faults but the faults I would say are major 1 no map for readers reference 2 mc is a Lord yet is too reliant upon his guests help 3 his constant asking about welfare of the girl who isnt a girl but 19 year old woman(not clear) every chapter every 4 or 5 paragraphs he asks how she was. If she was getting better then why would he think to ask after an hour or 2 at most again 4 due to no map not clear layout 5 not clear if mc is a reincarnator or not

This is one of best medieval novels out there. One thing I like most about there is no transmigration BS. The story progresses at even paces

just read the 180 chapters and I can say that the story is really interesting and specially the world background. there are some problems but overall it's a great novel to read.
love the writing only thing is wish there were more chapters to read caught up in like 3 days my favourite kingdom building so far thank you author!

A great novel very well written, the realism and actions taken by the characters are very well configured within the theme, the characters have a great development with the progression of the episodes, in addition to great lines of development for the future.

The story appears to be a realistic quasi-medieval setting. If there are fantasy parts, that has not come across by Chapter 12. It involves some Noble politics discussions (though nothing too heavy), domain-level building (probably will touch settlement building at a high-level as the MC runs a Viscountcy with 3 villages and a Castle right now), and depending upon direction of development it could touch Kingdom vs Kingdom conflict, inter-Kingdom conflict, and/or both. Combat/Action has all been small skirmish level and social/political by Chapter 12. However, as stated above the story may develop into something with battles depending on plot direction. If you are expecting lots of action, the story might seem a bit slow. However, outside of the expectations of that type of person the pacing is quite good. As the story is always moving forward, and the MC is not OP nor has any special powers/luck that solves their problems instantly. As stated earlier this is a very realistic type novel so problems are solved incrementally over time. There are a lot of potential plot points already (i.e. by Chapter 12), so it will be interesting which get developed fleshed out. Which I mentioned in this 1st paragraph could drastically change the direction/what we see in the novel.
