Chapter 37: Examination
"We're here!!" Souta said as he looked around and saw many people who was also taking the hero examination.
"Yes, Sensei" Genos said.
"Arghh!! Like I said.." Souta grunted.
'For now I will ignore this cyborg' Souta thought.
"First is the written examination" Souta said as walked forward.
Saitama and Genos followed behind him.
Souta turned around and looked at Saitama.
'I completely forgot, that Saitam will get low score in written exam, I should have teach him the basic needs' Souta thought in his mind.
The three of them went to the venue and bid farewell to each other.
Souta was bored as he watched a man explained things to them.
"Okay, time start" the man said.
Souta pick up a pen and immediately looked at the test papers. The exam was quite easy for him but there are still question that he didn't know the answer.
Souta kept writing until half an hour have passed.
'Okay I'm finish' Souta thought as he stood up and went to the examiner to passed his paper.
'I've finish it in half hour time, it's quite fast' Souta thought. He still didn't think that he would get a perfect score because when he encounter a question he didn't know he would left it blank.
Souta left the examination room and decided to buy a drink. It was exhausting to use your mind than your body.
Souta bought a cola and sat in a nearby chair. He opened it and drunk it in one go.
"Hooo!! That was refreshing" Souta said as he throw the cola can in the trash can.
Souta checked his stats.

'Hmm? My strength is enough to defeat most of the people here' Souta thought as he continued to looked at his stats. He remembered that old man Ryan was level 263, and said that his power was only above average in the immortal world.
'I remember that old man said to me, if I want to go to immortal world atleast atleast I was level 100' Souta thought.
Souta stood up and said, "I guess it's time for physical examination, I need to go now"
Souta head to the examination area. He first take off his clothes and wear only trunks.
He saw Saitama who was stretching preparing for the exam.
"Oh? Saitam, how was the written exam" Souta asked.
Saitama immediately became depressed, his shoulders slumped down as he said, "I didn't know anything"
"Hahaha!! It's okay, it's okay" Souta said as he pat Saitama's shoulder.
"Let's do our best this time" Souta said as he started stretching.
Saitama dominated the entire field as he got the highest to all of the physical exam. The machine couldn't fully measure his strength and speed. While Souta just do his own thing like Saitama exceeding the limit.
In the end, both Genos and Saitama are ranked like in the anime while Souta was the same rank as them, C rank.
After that the three of them went to Saitama's apartment to celebrate.

Early in the morning Souta do some exercise.
Souta looked at himself in the mirror. Even though he was 14 years old, compared to the others he looked matured and taller than the normal 14 years old kid.
'Well, hero association doesn't discriminate a child as long as you passed their examination you can become a hero. There's a child in S rank, he's hero name is Emperor child.' Souta thought.
"I guess I'll hunt some monster now" Souta murmured. He walked out of his apartment.
