Chapter 1: THE WAIT FOR YOU
ONCE .....
John stood still at the balcony at the back of his hotel room he looked down again and again as if he was again waiting for someone. The time was half past 12 and it was a full moon night of mid July. The atmosphere felt dry and as the hotel was near jungle, echoes of owls and howls of dogs and wolves could be heard by observing carefully.
The warmth of the air could be felt but John didn't care and kept waiting. He wore a red suit and had a present with him resting on the table near T.V.
His phone begins ringing and he picks it up without thinking because he knew it would his mother calling him and asking his whereabouts again.
His mother inquires him why he isn't home yet. He says her that she need to worry about the promises she made more than him and he won't be home all night as he is in a hotel and is about to meet a person to gift them his shares in the company. To which his mom replies that might is right and John cuts the phone call and an exiting look can be seen upon his dull face under the moon light.
Suddenly, the room's lights turn on and then___ the house keeping comes in to the and asks John's permission to clean to his room as he wants a leave tomorrow. John allowed him and the person started vacuum cleaning, followed by dusting the man asks him that," You bring the same gift on full moon night each month and are dressed each time the same but no one arrives. Who are you waiting for young man just call the person and ask them to show up. Anyways your coming is a blessing for me because you always pay double room rent for the same room, each time". John remained silent to his questions as always.
John notices a car coming inside the hotel, EAGLE VILLA. A wide smile could be seen upon John's face as the black Rolls Royce was parked in hotel's garage.
He asked the house keeping to leave the room and welcome the quest downstairs. After which he was asked to bring a cake and a pen to his room.
An elegant looking middle aged woman dressed in all black black from head to toe with an agreement in her hands greeted the house keeping man as he was also the manager of the hotel and then asked him about a man who would be waiting for her. The manger tells John's room number after making her fill a form. The lady looked similar to john in terms of her appearance and voice.
"Had Mr. John always waited for this woman to arrive for such a long time she awaited John, the poor boy."
The manager then rushes with a cake and pen to John's room and and he saw that the woman called John her son and said that she knew that John was joking to sell his shares to someone else. Then the woman cut the cake declaring that she didn't knew her date of birth but her mom once told her that she was born when the moon was full. They didn't even tasted that and made me eat the whole cake all alone.
The thing was that John would message his mother as a unknown person to make her come to meet him and buy but she would always make up excuses. He wanted to surprise his mom.
Then John took out papers from the gift pack and he and his mother signed them.
" congratulations!!! mam you're lucky to have such a nice son, but can ask what are these papers of?" I exclaimed.
"Well we have our own hotel and these are of that" John told me.
"That's great young man! you are very alike me our names are the same and you also owns a hotel like me that's why you opt for a hotel for the surprise but where is yours? ." The hotel's owner said.
John replied, " In front of yours."
The owner of the hotel took this statement as if they were saying in terms of competition. Because there was only a forest in front EAGLE VILLA.
The mother son duo just passed some creepy smiles to the hotel's owner and afterwards John paid the hotel bill and left the hotel by walk with his mom even when they had their car.
The hotel's owner, manager and cleaner, the all in one package of EAGLE VILLA, whose name was Mr. John was confused on such a behavior. He then again visited the room and found the young man's mobile but unexpectedly the model was very old one and it lacked sim and battery. He then looked at the papers, they were just empty papers with nothing written on them not even the signatures were present. Confused John, the hotel owner rushed to the garage and there the car was also not present.
After entering into the lobby. John also filled the same papers as filled by his mom. On both the filled papers of the mother son duo, the hotel manager found that both of them wrote the answer John to every question asked in the form.
A terrified John decided to ran away and the very next he sold the hotel. After 7 days the property was owned by a new person, Mr. Mark.
8 months later the dead body of Mr. Mark was found in the lobby of the same room of the same hotel. He was killed by a cake knife and a cake was lying beside him. Mr. Mark wrote in his diary about a strange young man who will visit the hotel on full moon nights waiting for some one and he would bring a gift and had a mobile phone of very old model and the person was named, "Mr. Mark". This case is very mysterious according to the police and the property is now under the custody of the government. People believe that two ghost declares himself as the real owner of the hotel and leaves no owner alive except the one who runs away.
Well, I know all this because I'm ____ Mr. John.
No one knows what is the reality of the mother son duo but still the EAGLE VILLA is present in the world in front of a haunted jungle lonely waiting for a new owner and still people claim that they saw a black Rolls Royce coming to the hotel___. Every full moon night.
