The door creaked open, drawing Mary's attention away from the mirror where she was meticulously pulling her hair into a tight bun. The familiar sound of footsteps entered the room, and she turned around to find Ellie walking in, an air of determination about her.

"You're back," Mary uttered, her hands still busy with her hair.

"Yep. And I'm taking you along with me this time," Ellie announced, striding confidently into the room.

Mary's confusion surfaced instantly upon hearing Ellie's words.

"Take me along?" Mary asked, pausing in her hair-prepping endeavors.

Ellie nodded, a slight smile playing on her lips as she came to stand beside Mary.

"To the main palace. I was hoping to meet Ginger here. She hasn't visited?" Ellie inquired, a faint furrow appearing on her brows.

"Ginger left some minutes ago. What is going on? You are not saying anything," Mary said, abandoning her hair preparations. Her gaze fixated on Ellie, seeking answers.
