Chapter 135: Nick's return

"You want him to apologize? That's all?" Storm asked, surprised at her demand after all she complained about.

Seth, initially bewildered by Ellie's demand, became even stunned by Storm's question. What did he mean by "that's all"? Did that mean he believed what Ellie said without even trying to find out if she was telling the truth or not?

"Yes. I only want him to apologize for threatening me." Ellie affirmed with a nod, and Storm in turn shifted his gaze to Seth.

"Apologize to her."

"Master—"

"Apologize." Storm cut him off with a stern voice and look, not wanting to hear what he had to say, yet. He knew there had to be an underlying explanation for what happened, but that was not the time to hear it.

Knowing she was injured and bleeding for no fault of hers was enough to rile him up.

Seth shut his eyes for a second, then faced Ellie.

"I'm sorry for threatening you, my lady." He apologized.

Ellie, however, shook her head.
