Chapter 12: Courier's First Scheme

(Courier POV)

"Good grief, Hadar," I sighed.

I adjusted my bra and covered my body with my shirt. I got finished my bath earlier and afterward, I was currently dressing up.

"I'm impressed to witness the rapid development of your territory. Who would even think that the history of his people will change in just a nick of a time? I, I underestimate your leadership, Hadar."

'Nevermind, the playground is already on set,' I grinned.

There were a lot of sets back that happened, so I adjusted the timeframe for the event.

I closed my eyes and imagined the upcoming tragedy for this tiny pet.

The world would experience its first catastrophe in their lives because of him.

I placed a hand on my chin and laughed.

(Hadar POV))

I was in the garden, holding a tablet.

My eyes trembled upon reading the bad review from one of the nobles who paid a visit here. According to this man, I was a copy-paste, a fraud, and worse but not least, a cheater.

Why did he curse my existence? That's because he believed I was the luckiest man who received the best place to live in. But in fact, I restored the blue planet through my people's efforts and helpful programs. Thankfully, no one believed his statement that the garbage planet which everyone knew had transformed into a paradise.

Why was mad? Because they disrespected my authority. All of these assholes disobeyed the rules of nobility and they sneak in without contacting me personally.

All of the violators were my fellow colleagues and ranked Baron under Count Weiss IV. They deliberately criticized my administration every single time, and since I bested them all, they envied my skills of how I efficiently handled the problems that occurred in my territory.

'Man, nobles in this era are very disappointing human beings,' I heaved a tired sigh.

Little did they know, all of this accomplishment won't be achieved without the help of my people. All of these credits should be awarded to Leona since she's the one who proposed this too.

For these assholes, they should blame themselves for their incompetency, idiocy, and negligence. Pulling someone down will never help you reach the top.

I should blame the stupid education in the Empire's academy.

The brain of the noble children rusted too much because they brainwashed their people to become racist and judgemental.

Those racial sons of bitches!

I wanted to reform the whole fuckin' empire, but honestly, being powerless and weaker than a puppy won't bring anything but shame and humiliating defeat.

I wanted to push my idea.

Without the common people, nobles won't even be needed from the very start.

People adapted and survived because of common interests.

Nobility started from the bottom and the ancestors of these assholes were all farmers or ordinary peasants if we looked into history.

I loathed the pride and ignorance of society.

I wished for them to realize the consequence of these actions.

History often told us to look into the past. To learn from the mistake of our predecessors, and try our best to prevent anything our ancestors failed to fix and destroyed by their incompetency.

I prayed for the betterment of our galaxy. I wanted to continue as a noble and prevented the worst revolution that erased powerful empires and a lot of kingdom in history.

Lower your pride and accept them all as fellow humans, one of the steps to keep them calm.

If Capitalism wasn't your thing, then you're an idiot. Once they graduated, they would join the society and became a public servant. All of the money should be mandatorily collected through tax, though.

The other noble families won't tolerate this decision, but the human civilization started from scratch from using stone to a civilized nano-tech mindset.

If you wanted to prevent your administration to fall down apart, then respect the people's rights and treated them properly. Or else, these peasants used their power through seer of their numbers to dismantle their master's rights.

I stood up from my chair and headed to my office again.

Likewise, I mounted into my favorite sit, and the computer automatically opened upon seeing me.

I carefully read the annual report of our economy.

My lips slowly upturned after I checked the last digit of our financial report.

All of the numbers were full green which means a positive score. The per capita GDP of my citizens increased from 500 ducats to 100,000 ducats annually. The GDP per month reached its highest percentage of 100.1 percent.

I made guts pose and rejoiced at this wonderful news.

Giving them freedom was really the right choice.

All of my decisions were right!

It wasn't bad to establish a federal absolute monarchial system as a form of my government.

But still, there's a rumor lurking around in here. It widely spread everywhere like a disease.

The citizens called me the most beloved ruler with unquestionable leadership, a nobleman who truly loved his people and the only virtuous leader among them his peers.

I placed a hand on my stomach and laughed.

'I ain't a virtuous person they thought about me.'

Man, I wanted to take a day off, but my duty as the leader of this planet prevented me.

There were a lot of beautiful places I wished to visit such as beaches, huge mountains and deep forests in this world.

Thankfully, I signed a decree to establish more ports, airports, roads, railroads, and space shuttle to improve our transportation.

Subsidizing social spending and infrastructure was a pain in the ass, honestly. But since Leona told me the economy would triple than before, then I tossed my money without a second thought.

'Man, I cannot read the bank account anymore. I wonder if I can consider myself as a rich person by looking at the numbers worth of million zeroes, No, Hadar, I'm still poor like no other. Compare to the earnings of my fellow Barons, this is nothing but a small penny for them,' I sighed again.

Next, I checked the status of our progress in the industry.

"Wow, impressive. I've never expected this to happen. Man, I'm very blessed with a wonderful life. Shit, I'd be happier than ever if this debt obligation disappears," I grimaced. "Hmm, what should I do next? I already increase the military spending but we still lack the strength to confront an enemy. All of my soldiers aren't even experienced in combat either. Crap, I should take a rest for the meantime."

Suddenly, someone knocked on the door and her sweet voice removed the stress from my body.

Leona, my personal beautiful maid appeared.

'Lucky me,' I simpered and focused my gaze on her face.

"I guess, let's introduce the entertainment industry to the people," I said out of a blue.

'Oof, I slip.'

"Lord Hadar, that's a wonderful idea. This Leona here is very pleased to hear such good news. Helping your people to reach greater heights is one of the noblest things for our great virtuous lord. How wonderful."

I scratched my cheeks and felt embarrassed.

"Geez, I ain't virtuous, Leona. Remember, I'm a vicious lord. More like a dictator of a single planet," I corrected.

"Here we go again. You're degrading yourself, milord," She frowned as she placed a hand on her forehead.

"But, I'm telling the truth. The reason I invested my money to help them was, it was part of my schemes to rise to the ranks of villainy. Also, I need them to squeeze them dry. This way, my debt would disappear," I abruptly explained.

She moved closer to me. I flinched at first. She removed her gloves before she petted me.

"You're saying the opposite of who you are, milord. Please don't be too pessimistic about yourself too much. You're Hadar. Lord of the new blue planet. The ruler who surpasses his peers at rapid growth and the only one who selflessly thinks a plan ahead of his servants for the greater good of his people," Leona reminded.

"Oh, please, you're exaggerating too much. I'm an underrated man, Leona," I defended.

"Please remember, you manage to pull the problems off which no one could ever overcome. Please don't degrade your life like that. It's bad for your health too. Remember, the people of this planet will get worried because they love you," she added.

'Man, I wanna kiss you in the lips right now,' I covered my eyes upon hearing it.

"Milord, the people of this planet, including me, will remain devoted. We are outmatched by your kindness, worrisome, and selflessness. We always pray for your health and safety," she declared.

"Okay, fine. Stop spoiling more, Leona. Man, I need to create a new law to declare this time - a non-working holiday," I stretched my arms onward upon my declaration.

"Wonderful, I'm very happy about such a great idea, milord. I will tell Sir Francis about this great news later on," Leona clasped together with her hands tightly and her head tilted on the side with a smiling face.

'How many idiots will proclaim this day a non-working holiday? Only one. And, that's me,' I proudly declared.

CREATORS' THOUGHTS
RedAdam04 RedAdam04

There's someone posted a review about the similarities of the novel with the I'm the Evil Lord of Intergallactic Empire.

He gave me a negative score without hesitation. He must be a big fan. But let me clear this up, my novel is DIFFERENT. I didn't copy anything!

In fact, that novel inspired me to write this series.

Thank you for the readers who defended it against him. I'm very grateful!

*Tears of joy*

Nevermind, I will continue until I'm fully satisfied. There's nothing I can do in the review though. It's the sign of a maturity. There are a lot of people out there exist like him, so all I have to do is endure the pain.

Your gift is the motivation for my creation. Give me more motivation!
