Chapter 4: Atlanta is for the dead pt1
Ianthe: Stopping just outside of the city me, Jenny,and Duane get out of the car and I take the bag of guns with me taking out an few boxes of ammunition and a gun for Morgan.
Closing the bag i look at dad as he looks back at me and nods his head I say "dad,Morgan if anything happens reach out to us on the radio and i will make my way to you or if you do find some kind military resistance left we will make our way to you".
Rick: Ok, we will let us know if you guys find people as well.
If the city really is taken over by the walkers we will make our way out of the city to you.
Morgan: "Duane listen to your mother now an Ianthe stay close to them and make that you do whatever they say as you keep your eyes open out there".
Duane: Yes, dad I will make sure to stay with mom and Ianthe.
Ianthe: Smiling at Duane as I ruffle his hair i nod back to dad letting him know I will be in touch like he asked.
Jenny: "Be safe hone, you and Rick keep each other safe out there and make sure you both make it back safely" as I am hugging Duane from behind tighting it a little to show my concern.
Morgan: Nodding, i look at Rick and see that we're on the same page as look at them and smile before rolling the window up and Rick starts to drives off.
Ianthe: Looking at Duane and Jenny, I smile as I toss the bag on my shoulder and say "let's get going" whiling making sure the bag is securely on my shoulder and check the chamber of my gone before heading off.
(10 minutes later)
Ianthe: Walking through the woods, it's been quiet and we haven't seen any walkers yet as i think 'well at this part of show the majority of them are still in the city as they haven't begun to wonder out of the city yet still letting this area be relatively safe for now.
I could probably go look for Daryl but...with how he is now I don't wanna risk it with Jenny and Duane with me'.
Duane: Seeing that Ianthe is lost in thought i break the quiet ness around us "hey, Ianthe do you really think that we will really be able to find people out here instead of the city"?
Ianthe: Leaving my thoughts as i had heard what Duane had asked i look back at him with a smile as I respond "yes, I do believe that we will find people out here see as I point up the hill as we leave the woods you can't make it out yet but that white thing right there that is coming into view is a truck as I stop pointing and I'm guessing that the city has fallen way before we came it just that dad and Morgan wouldn't had believed me so this was the best course of action.
Plus, when they get to the city they will meet the people that are part of the group that we are about to meet will help keep them safe also look as I look back at him".
Duane: Looking up the hill again to see 3 figures walking down to the truck that Ianthe pointed at before stopping.
Ianthe: Smiling as i look back up the hill I see Shane with other people waving at them as I say "I'm going to go ahead" I run off with to them calling out "Uncle Shane!...Uncle Shane!"
Shane: Seeing the people walking up the hill i ready my gun as was one of them started to run up the hill.
I was about to point my gun at them when I had heard "Uncle Shane...Uncle Shane!" being yelled out from the one running up to us.
I think 'it...it...can't be...' as i lower my weapon in disbelief.
When I did i get pushed from behind that had made me take a step forward a little as I had saw someone run past me.
Looking up I see Carl running down the hill shouting "BIG SISTER...BIG SISTER!..." as Lori runs up to me with tears in her eyes as she's covering her mouth with her hand.
Looking back at Carl, I see him hugging the person while disbelief is still apparent in my eyes.
Ianthe: Seeing a figure run past Shane at full speed pushing him out the way I hear them yell "BIG SISTER!...BIG SISTER!..." hearing the all to familiar voice i pick up my pace and yell back "CARL!" as i crouched down to his height hugging him making me fall on to my back as his tears fall on my chest.
Carl: Hugging Ianthe as I lay on top of her as i call out to her gently "big sister...big sister...as my tears fall on her chest".
Ianthe: Gently patting his back, I speak "it's ok...It's ok...im back now".
Carl: Nodding, I snuggle into my big sister as she rolls to her side still holding me as she got up and pick me up as she secured me in her arms turning to see mom and Shane.
Ianthe: Getting up, I made sure that I was still able to hold Carl as I propped him up in my arms holding him more securely as i turned around to see mom and Shane walking up to us.
Lori: Seeing her turn towards us as she held Carl i cover my mouth again as more tears fall i move closer to her putting my hands on her face looking at her I say "Ianthe...is...is... that really you as hope,doubt, and longing that had began to appear in my eyes as I had looked at her.
Ianthe: Looking in my mom's eyes, as I had saw hope,doubt, and longing appear in her them i smile at her while I say "Mom...it's... me...it's...me".
Lori: Hearing the words that I wanted to hear so bad I hug her as she's holding Carl while sobs can be hear from me I call out her name "Ianthe...Ianthe" as I tighten the hug.
Ianthe: Hugging mom as my head was on her shoulder as I still held Carl i look at Shane to see a smirk on his face as the look of disbelief and happiness showed in his eyes.
Letting Carl down and letting go of mom, i had walked up to uncle Shane i look at him smiling I ask "what? your to surprised to see your favorite nice to hug her" as I give an cocky smirk at him."
Shane: Hah...your my only niece as i give her a hug as the gun was still my hand as I say "I'm glad that you are safe."
