Chapter 61: Re Ch 60
"N-Nie Li? Y-You're Nie Li!" The black-robed guy pointed at Jason and shouted. "Demon Lord! He is that Nie Li!"
The demon lord was startled, staring at Jason in shock, his eyes revealing his disbelief.
"Now you understand how you offended me..." Jason smirked, his eyes brimming with killing intent. An invisible pressure enveloped the three powerful experts from the Dark Guild, rendering them motionless.
"I came here to kill you at first. But then changed my mind to give you all a chance. Hehe... now, you should be dead!"
The Demon Lord gritted his teeth and shot numerous black chains toward Jason from all directions.
Demon Lord didn't dare to hold back and shot out with his full might while making a hand seal. His body rapidly transformed into a gigantic demon that was about five to six meters tall with eight arms. He waved his huge fists, containing the Law of Hell, towards Jason.
But Jason just snorted with no intent to dodge, completely unfazed by the incoming attacks.
Suddenly, just before the attacks could land, Jason's eyes flashed with a red clock-like mark and he vanished into thin air.
When he appeared, he was already behind the trio!
'Eye of Supreme 1st stage!'
"With just this much strength, you want to kill me! Fools!" Jason snorted and waved his hand, landing a solid slap on Demon Lord's face, sending him flying across the room and hitting the wall opposite to him.
The Demon Lord who had been merged with Eight-Armed Darkhell Fiend flew like a kite with broken string and slammed into the wall. But rather than the wall being destroyed, it bounced back the demon lord as he fell down on the ground and spat a full mouthful of blood, his transformation was undone.
"Demon Lord!" His two loyal servants shouted in worry but they were unable to move or else had leaped up to help him.
Jason instantly flashed in front of him and raised his leg before bringing it down upon him, crushing his bones.
Snap! Snap!
The sounds of bones crushing chilled the hearts of the two youths.
"I'm giving you a chance. Bow down and submit to me. Or else even your soul will be annihilated with no chance to enter the river of samsara." Jason sneered, applying more force on him.
The Demon Lord spat another mouthful of blood and gritted his teeth. But it didn't matter how much energy he used, he just couldn't able to lift his body.
'J-Just how strong is he? How can there be such a huge difference?'
"I'm not that much patient!"
"I... I submit! I submit to you!"
"Good boy!" Jason chuckled and released the force applied to him. But just as he did, the Demon Lord sprung into action and roared at Jason.
Jason grinned and grabbed his face. Picking him up from the ground, he slammed him hard onto the ground a few times, until the entire floor was cracked.
Grabbing his skull, Jason channeled his energy into the Demon Lord's body, sinking deeper into his soul and leaving a print into his soul.
Shrugging his head, he threw away the Demon Lord, slamming him into the wall again before walking towards the two youths who had watched the entire show from beginning to end with dumbfounded expressions.
They couldn't believe their eyes that their master who they had thought as the strongest was taken care of by someone so young so easily.
Jason watched their expression and snorted, retrieving his aura and letting the two youths move.
Feeling the restraints disappearing, the Duo sprung into action and helped the Demon Lord who had been injured.
Jason moved his hand and a chair floated out in front of him. Taking a seat on it, he made a hand sign.
"AAHHHH!!" Demon Lord who had just stood up, shrieked in pain, his voice echoing in the entire palace because of the soul-tearing pain he was feeling.
"D-Demon Lord..."
"What happened to you?"
Jason chuckled and said. "I've put a soul seal on him. Now even if he uses the Spiritual Constellation Technique again, his soul will still carry this mark with it, the only way to escape being destroying his soul completely."
"You!... How dare you?" The black-robed guy glared at Jason, his eyes spitting flames.
"Hahaha..." Jason laughed, finding it funny. "Don't you find it funny?..."
Sneering, he continued. "So you guys can kill innocents and yet I can't do just this much. You should be happy that I find this guy somewhat useful or else hmph!..."
When Jason exchanged a move with the Demon Lord, he realized that the youth in front of him wasn't just an old guy using the Spiritual Constellation Technique to retain his youth but he was even a reincarnation of an expert.
And that's what caused him to change his mind or else thinking about harming his family would have resulted in his soul annihilated by Jason.
"Now then, I'll ask you guys some questions. And if you dare to lie, his pain will be increased tenfold." Jason put his hand under his chin and chuckled with an evil grin, leg crossed over his other leg. "Your honesty will be able to save your master from the pain for now."
Looking at the Demon Lord who not even flinched under the pain normally screaming like an animal, the duo's faces turned grave with no other choice in sight.
Cupping their hands, the duo asked him to ask.
"Let's begin your introductions first." Jason looked at them and spoke.
The white-robed guy spoke first. "M-My Lord, My name is Long Sha. I'm the second in command of the Dark Guild. I'm at the 3 Star Legend."
Long Sha thought about how to address Jason and finally settled on this.
"My name is Gui Sha and the law enforcement elder of the Dark Guild and in command along with Long Sha."
Jason nodded his head and asked the most important question. "Then tell me, why do you guys want to destroy the Glory City? What do the people in the city do to earn your resentments?"
Jason had thought for quite some time but had never found a reason for them to go against their own kind except for their greed for power. And if it was really that, then he would not show any mercy.
"This..." Long Sha and Gui Sha looked at each other, somewhat hesitant to reply.
Jason snorted and made another hand sign and the demon lord's screams intensified. "Spit It Out!"
The duo almost jumped in fear and quickly replied. "Actually, we don't have any idea... It's our Lord who has some troubles with the Glory City and we only follow his orders."
"Ohh..." Jason raised his eyebrow and saw their eyes were clear with no aura fluctuations. Nodding his head, he asked, "Why is that? What did this guy do to gain your loyalty?"
"The Demon Lord saved our lives when we're at the lowest point of our lives, almost on the brink of death!"
Jason nodded in understanding.
The debt of life is the most difficult to repay!
Jason asked a few more questions before he put soul seals on them too. Finally, he turned to the Demon Lord and made another gesture causing the screams of the Demon Lord to stop.
Demon Lord slowly stood up, holding his head, drenched in sweat from pain. Looking at Jason, his eyes for the first time revealed fear and dread.
Even someone like him had never seen such a painful method before.
"What is your name?" Jason asked.
The demon lord stared at him for some time before he chuckled. "A name? I had one many years ago but I don't remember it anymore."
Nodding his head, Jason didn't persist further and changed his question. "Why do you resent Glory City so much?"
"Resent?" The demon lord shook his head with a laugh. "Why do I resent some bu... I mean normal people? I only don't like the Snow Wind Family. That Ye Mo and his son Ye Zong are two stubborn fools. They have something that I desire and yet they refused to hand it over. So, I had to use such methods to deal with them, wanting to force them to give that thing to me!"
"Okay. But don't you think you should not involve the innocents in your disputes? Do you know how many people have died because of you?"
