Chapter 35: The Knights (3)
Feng Xiaoxi look at the guy who avoided her gaze and put his attention to the food infront of him. But this time, she noticed that his bite and scoops became much smaller. He eat unhurriedly not like before. He even used tissues to wipe his mouth while moments before he's eating his food carefeely not minding the sauce and some bits of his food near his lips.
She narrowed her eyes and raised her eyebrows.
The cafeteria is not that big at the start because it's not the main cafeteria which is in the middle of the school, while this cafeteria is in the west wing and the sauce is color red so it's pretty easy to notice.
Feng Xiaoxi shrugged and look at the guy in the corner near the entrance. The guy is wearing a black hoodie and khaki their school uniform. His hair is a little bit messy. He's currently sleeping, head is resting at his arms that were on the top of his table. In his table, there's a cup and a pack of candies and chocolates.
She suddenly felt someone tugging on her sleeves.
"Feng Xiaoxi, look! Isn't that Meili?" Mo Weimei exclaimed. She pointed at the girl wearing ripped jeans and a plain white shirt at the corner on their side, near the entrance.
Feng Xiaoxi narrowed her eyes and examined the girl and nodded. "Yes, that's her."
Meili's bad girl/cool aura really shines out from her because of the way she dress and the way she act. She eat her burger and sips on her drink without a care in the world.
"Meili over here!" Mo Weimei waved towards Meili.
Meili turned her head and look at her. She removed her black earphones from her ear and raised her eyebrows.
"Hi!" Mo Weimei waved at her again and greeted her.
Meili nodded her head and slightly raised her glass like a way of proposing a cheer then she put her earphones back and continue eating. Mo Weimei also continued eating her lunch that has been barely touch.
Feng Xiaoxi look at Mo Weimei's plates and examined how she eat. She eat a little from a dish and move to the other. It's like she's only tasting eat but not eating to be full.
Feng Xiaoxi smiled. This person can never be simple.
"Mo Weimei, can you tell me something about The Knights? Why are they called knights?"
"Ahh, first of all The Knights is a group composed of three players. They're all born with a golden spoons in their mouth." Mo Weimei started and suddenly leaned towards her and whispered. "They actually have four players, the fourth person is the person they called King. He's like the leader of the group but he don't want to be known with the group and decided to manage his parents company."
She leaned back to her seat and took a sip of her coke zero. "That is suppose to be a secret but because you are now my friend you're exempted." She winked at Feng Xiaoxi. "I don't why they named the group The Knights, though."
