Chapter 49: Visit the school
Feng Xiaoxi just came back to the dorm. It's quiet unsual because Meng didn't follow her like before. When she came inside the dorm she get herself a glass of water and head to the bedroom. She opened the door and found Meng at the study table. Meng didn't notice Feng Xiaoxi, she's occupied by her laptop infront of her.
"What are you doing?" A voice asked behind Meng. Meng feels like she was electrocuted.
"Nothing!" Meng quickly shut her laptop close to prevent Feng Xiaoxi from seeing it. Feng Xiaoxi only saw the paragraphs and dont have time to read the contents.
Meng looked behind her and saw Feng Xiaoxi. She put on a smile and asked. "So... Is there any food you want to eat?"
Feng Xiaoxi narrowed her eyes at her, examining Meng's expression and then she looked away. "Nothing at the moment."
"Ahh Xiaoxi..." Meng started sounding a little bit hesitant. "You see, I still need to finish my homework so I can't accompany you for awhile."
Feng Xiaoxi looked at her again her eyebrows knitted and glanced at the laptop. "Homeworks, huh."
"I'm sure Mo Weimei can accompany you for awhile." Meng Added.
Feng Xiaoxi nodded. "Okay." She turn her wheelchair round and head out of the bedroom.
Left inside the room, seeing that Feng Xiaoxi is already out of the room, Meng sighed in relief and open her laptop again after of course, locking the door.
At iTech Company
Inside the office of the CEO, Five men lined up infront a man sitting in a swivel chair behind a desk that mountains of papers were placed.
"It will not happen again boss." The burly man in the middle said with his head bowed at the man infront.
"You better be right." The man infront is holding a pen and played it with his hand. He didn't tear off his eyes away from the pen while talking. "Do your job, well."
"Send your subordinates to the school to guard, It's that easy if you can't go there yourselves. There are many of you, what's the use of them if you won't let them do the job." He put the pen down and looked at the men infront of him. "I won't keep you here any longer, go."
"Thank you boss." The group of men said in unison and walked out of the office.
"Why don't we visit the school so we can protect our boss' sister?" A man with red hair asked the group while they are waiting for the elavator.
"Whatever you say, Red." Of course, this is Warren. The man who loves to oppose Red as always.
"That's a actually a good idea." Kieth, one of the juniors said. And may I add that he is also called the brainy guy in the group?
"Wait- what?!" Warren was startled. Red actually suggested something and Kieth approved? But Red always bully his juniors hmp! "But the boss said to send our subordinates-"
"If we can't go there ourselves." The four of the men said in unison.
Ding!
The door of the elevator opened. The four men quickly stepped inside leaving Warren.
"Wait!" Warren put his arm inside the closing to stop it from closing. When it opens Warren quickly stepped inside joining the group. "Are we really going to the school?"
"Yep!"
