Chapter 146: A-ayan...

"I know you're impatient, I'm sorry, but it's really hard to not say cheesy song lyrics right now that under the lights tonight," I blush, pointing at the lights he has strung around the room. "You turned around, and you stole my heart... with just one look."

"Aww," he grins, "I see; when I saw your face, I fell in love."

I blush at his words, my lips curling up in a smile that refuses to go away.

"It took a minute, girl, to steal my heart, with just one look, yeah," he whispers cheekily against my lips, and my breath gets caught in my throat. "I waited for a girl like you..."

I tilt my face up expectantly and he leans close, one of his hands reaching out to hold the back of my head. His eyes close and so do mine as my heart beats faster against my chest, the pace a hundred times faster than normal.

The kiss ends before it even starts because I pull away, keeping my eyes shut.
