Chapter 2: His Girlfriend
I rushed to the class in search of meline to give her this big news. When I spotted her in class full of students I went to her shouting “Mel, Mel, Mel you won’t believe what just happened and how happy I am”
Meline: “ok, ok, ok shhhh!! We are in class all are listing sit down here next to me and say what happened without shouting”
Demon: “Mell your bestie is finally in relation with the hottest girl of the school”
Meline: hearing this my whole world was shaken, I wanted to cry out loud, slap him and say that I loved him. But this was never possible because I knew if I confess, I will lose his friendship too... and I know I will not be able to survive without his friendship. I smiled at him and said “congratulation! I am really very happy for you. Hope that makeup box is good enough for you. and do let her know that if she breaks your heart, I will break her teeth” demon laughed and gave me a friendly hug and spoke
Demon: “she is very sweet I know she won’t break my heart and I even know that you; my best friend is always there for me”.
Meline: “I will be back having to use the washroom urgent bye demon.” and I went to the washroom locked the door from inside and cried myself out knowing that he could never be mine... I was not lucky enough to have my best friend as my life partner. After a good minute of cry, I went back to the class... similarly the day also came to an end after long boring lectures. When we went to the parking lot Luna and Asher were already waiting for us out there. As we were about to get in our car some said “are you going to come with me D” when we turned around it was none other than the makeup box. huh
Demon: “ohh yes baby I will come with you but first let me introduce you to my friends. This handsome boy over here not as handsome as me obviously is Asher. He is a big flirt try to stay away from him as much as you can. The girl on the right of Asher is Luna she is the sweetest of all. and lastly meline you met her before also she is my support system my best friend”
Meline: my heart jumped from joy when he said those word for me. That’s when Shanaya interrupted and said “ya I know, she is the jealous one and I hope she won’t come in between us” I felt really bad and without saying anything I started walking and took a taxi straight to home, ignoring my friends calling me from behind. While demon and Shanaya went to Shanaya’s place in her car and Luna and demon went home as usual.
