Chapter 11: Leaving
After I was done, I haven't heard from the Mizukage, I thought he was just sleeping, but when I pressed my fingers on his neck.
'Dead.'
Right I forgot, when one is devoid of chakra either they're dead or they're just exhausted, and I know this is the former, I sighed, and even then I knew I had consumed Isobu's essence as I felt a bit stronger than before.
It felt like somehow my body became young and full of vitality even though I was young, I carried him back to the Mizukage's office.
Everyone was waiting for me, Zabuza was with Haku on the other side, looks like they weren't injured nor attacked by them, and here I thought they'd be betrayed.
"Here's the Mizukage, all in one piece."
They looked at the Mizukage as I placed him on the ground, Zabuza and Haku walked behind me.
"This concludes our deal."
"It may seem so."
Mei was the one who said it, Ao and the rest of perhaps here future council were standing behind her.
"We'll be leaving now, don't forget the part of the deal."
"Wait!"
We stopped.
"Never mind Zabuza can have it."
We immediately left and said nothing else, it was easy tonight but I doubt things would be as easy like this in the future.

"So what do you want us to do."
We were already at the border of the mist when we left, it looks like Zabuza is happy that the Mizukage had been taken care off but I know he doesn't like to comeback to the mist.
"Stay where you are now, protect the small village and I'll call you when I need you, perhaps a few months later and most importantly train Haku."
"So you know about him."
"There's only one clan and that's the Yuki clan, although my name is Yuki it still feels weird."
"Brat how strong really are you, I can't help but ask, I too for one was surprised that Ao and that girl didn't try to fight you."
"How about this, I'm stronger than a Kage and if I let loose I'd slap the life out of them."
"Good joke brat."
I smiled at him and didn't say anything else as we traveled slowly back, we were no longer in a rush, perhaps Akatsuki would be on panic especially Obito now that Yagura is dead and by then he'd have to wonder where Isobu was and why he had became weaker.
When split up along the way, I really had no plans to go to the place where I was found since Mother had already told me everything, it was just a remote place and the 'Grey' Zetsu lead some Chunins to find me there.
When I returned back to Konoha after three days I was dead tired, everything had gone smoothly so far and I know it won't be like this in the future, I can't wait till my next birthday since I had to ask my Mother what changed has occured.
For sure I knew my Chakra capacity had increased along with my vitality, I could be considered the same as the seven tails or eight after this.
I immediately returned home, when I returned, Kakashi was there reading his novel, I shook my head but I remembered.
"Nii-san."
"What."
"Come to the training ground! I met those guys you told me and I was lucky enough to learn something from them."
"What!?"
I did the Demonic Mirroring Ice Crystal, it was just one and he was shocked, of course I've done things in front of him far more complex than this but he shook his head.
"At this point I won't ask what you are, but still, Yuki, there's only one clan that could do that."
"So I'm Yuki Yuki?"
Kakashi rolled his eyes as he continued reading not minding that Yuki had learned a new jutsu but then he remembered something.
"Right the Hokage was looking for you, I'll come with you now."
"Right now?"
"Yes."

I had arrived at the Hokage's office, he was smoking and looking at his crystal ball, I wonder what hot spring had he been peeking at this time? Well not like I care.
"What is it this time Old man? Is my next Genin mission related to you?"
I said, overtime I've become quite close to the old man though I still don't trust him that much, after hearing me he stopped watching and then looked at me with a sly smile.
"You said you wanted to become like the fourth right?"
"Of course, I don't want to be like you, what I want is to be like the fourth but better."
"I know, I also know you'd rather choose your family first rather than the village."
"What are you getting it? You're not gonna give me the seat of Hokage right now aren't you?"
"When you grow older I'll give it to you."
"I don't wanna waste my time doing paperwork and peeping at girls, besides your ANBU might be judging you because of it."
The ANBU at the office suddenly appeared and bowed in front of Hiruzen, Hiruzen nodded as they immediately left us alone.
"Show me your Rasengan."
I nodded and did it instinctively, It was small just like Naruto's, I did want to show off but using it is already showing off, Hiruzen nodded as I stopped it.
I saw him reaching out from his drawer, it was a scroll, he then threw it to me.
"What's the catch?"
"Don't betray the village."
"That's quite easy."
"It is, I'm trusting in your potential, someone who could spar Itachi and Kakashi when they were just seven years old speaks volumes to your capabilities."
"It feels like I'm being rewarded for doing nothing the past months."
"Then consider it as a congratulatory gift for your promotion."
"Promotion?"
"You're going to join the Chunin exams, as a special case of course."
"Alright."
I grabbed the scroll and left immediately, if I'm not wrong this is the Hiraishin, If I master this I might not need for mother to unlock my other abilities as I can get to travel alternate dimensions by myself!

"What do you think Kakashi? Was I right or was I wrong?"
Kakashi who was left alone with the Hokage was asked by him, shortly Yamato arrived through the window.
"Giving him rewards like that will keep him in line, there's nothing else he thinks of other than getting strong to protect his loved ones."
"Yamato, what do you think of Yuki."
"He's a good and honest kid, though his mouth is crude but he wears his heart on his sleeve."
"Do the two of you think he's fit to be a Hokage? When he grows up of course"
Kakashi and Yamato looked at each other, being with Yuki has made them know more about him they both shook their heads, they could see Yuki could be one but he was more suited to fighting than ruling.
"I've asked him the same question, I'll say it again, If there is no one else he'll gladly take the responsibility but that won't change his heart of family first."
"I see, you can go now Kakashi, except Yamato stay."
The Hokage sighed nothing could be changed with Yuki's view and he was not wrong either, but if Yuki was strong then he would no longer be worried if he, the Hokage was gone, there was the new generation and he could feel Yuki would be a pillar of the village one day.

As I was about to return to home, I encountered someone who immediately hugged me.
"Yuki-kun!"
"Ah Ino-chan."
I patted her back as she looked at me but hugged me tight again, damn her grip is strong.
"You're back, how did your trip go?"
"You knew?"
"Well of course when I heard that Sakura came back and she told me what I happened I went directly to your house! Me and Hinata asked Kakashi sensei and he said you were out to go and do something."
"Oh really?"
"Yeah, Hinata was there already and she didn't know, right! She said she wanted to give you something."
After saying all this things Ino smiled she immediately clung onto my arm and pressed her face against it.
"You promised that we would go out after a month remember"
"Did I?"
"Mhm! I want dango's!"
"Fine, I am hungry"
This time I wish I looted some of Gato's money, I wish I could go back in time and do it, I forgot money was still a thing, good thing I saved up, the Jutsu can wait.
As we walked together I asked something
"Ino-chan, does your shop sell Bamboo seedlings?"
"I think so? What kind of Bamboo's do you want there's tons of types."
"Whatever is best I guess?"
"Alright I'll ask Dad or Mom later, but right now Dango's!"
I smiled wryly as she was too excited, I shook my head and let her lead, I guess we haven't seen each other for a month so I'll let it slide today.
