Chapter 129: And You Call This a Piece of Information?

Kayla invited herself to a seat and looked towards Adriana with a million questions in her eyes. She didn't know what it was, but after hearing what Robert Pennton said earlier on, she felt that there is really something going on that she isn't aware of. 

She has been in the company with Adriana since she arrived in the company, but has never seen her engage in banter with anybody. At meetings, Adriana minds her business and only puts in inputs when necessary. She only steps out of her office to use the washroom, go for lunch, or even leave the premises altogether. 

Kayla couldn't understand when exactly her boss offended Mr Pennton so much that he had to barge into her office, dishing out unpalatable threats. She was occupied with the thought that maybe Dylan Flynch approached her boss once again, and Mr Pennton was here to warn Miss Fynn to stay away from him.
