Chapter 159: Breaking Up!

The meal was almost over, with everyone chatting at the table. There was no restriction about being silent at the table. Adriana realized that Robin also had a hard time eating his meals, but she didn't inquire about his reasons. Maybe he was just feeling uneasy in her presence. 

Adriana got it right. Robin was feeling uneasy in her presence, not because of how he was usually jittery around her, but because of what he found out. He was feeling ecstatic, yet worried at the same time. Robin didn't have the details, but his guts keep telling him that Adriana's presence in Flynch Corporation wasn't a mere coincidence. 

She seemed to be well positioned and is a force to reckon with. However, she becomes a mere Deputy Design Team Manager at Flynch Apparel. Robin sincerely doesn't care what happens to Flynch Corporation, but Adriana's reasons, as well as Gerald Flynch's oblivion in the presence of his daughter, are mind-boggling.
