Chapter 233: Even Their Ghosts Shouldn't Be Allowed To Meet!

"Mmhm! This steak is the best I've had so far." Vance spoke exaggeratedly, acting as though he didn't hear Adriana's words just now. After taking another bite from the steak, he stretched forth his hands to pick yet another piece. All this while, he was using Adriana's cutlery, knowing fully well that she would be throwing daggers at him. 

Vance expected Adriana to lash out at him, yell at him, attempt to throw him out, or even give him a resounding slap. However, until she reacted, he wouldn't get what he needed. There was no way he was going to walk away without getting the response he came for. It's either now or never. 

Before now, Adrian would have already walked out on him. She wouldn't even bother to treat him like a living person, let alone respond to his queries. This was the same situation he faced when they met in Country C central prison.
