Chapter 256: Good boys don't do that

Before Adriana could say anything, or even get a gist of what was going on, Zeke equally dashed out of the van and chased after Matilda. He didn't care about what could equally happen to him if he did what he planned. The only thing in his mind was finding Matilda and bringing her back safely. 

So, with full knowledge of the toxicity of the gas, Zeke rushed into the building and ran after Matilda. The place was to cave in shortly, and he didn't even know how long they had. However, at this point, Matilda's life was more important in his eyes than even his own life. 

He dashed for the stairs and kept going in a certain direction, ignoring the piercing pain that assaulted him as he breathed in the toxin.
