Chapter 7: 7 I DO
It took hours for my make up and hair to finish and the only thing missing is me wearing my gown a videographer was there to shoot the entire thing.
'Smile you look beautiful' they kept saying and giving me nonstop teasing, they kept telling me my groom looks awesome like they already know or they do know?
'I'd already prepared your nighties for tonight' I looked at them annoyed and throw whatever I could grab on.
'I think you'll be flying to Paris' Janine said, none of my cousins wanted to be my bridesmaids to I took my friends five of them which I think is a bad decision because now they are killing me with their conversations like will I sleep with my husband on our first night.
'Can you just be quiet?' I said and that just made them laugh, I will be the first one on our friendship circle getting married
'When you get married I will make it worst I swear to god' I took my gown and went to the bathroom to fit it in. This will be the first time I will wear it I hope it fits well.
When I went out and someone was putting my veil on my friends starts crying and tearing up, I avoided staring at them because it makes me emotional as well.
'Don't speak a word or I swear I will cry' I warned them they let me see myself in the mirror I was speechless, is this even real? Am I really getting married? Did I really say yes to this shit?
'I love you so much' one by one they said that and hugged me I admit I teared up a bit.
'Katie he looked good' I was at the door when I heared one of my friends said that and giggle I can even hear them shrieking. My knees are shaking can I walk naturally? The organizer was smiling with me outside
'You'll be fine' she kept telling me and giving me advices and not to forget to smile but how can I smile when I don't even know who really am I going to marry.
My heart skipped a bit when the door opened and the piano started to move, someone was singing, I can hear everyone gasped and whisper giving comments that I looked beautiful and that who is she but my eyes focus in front I saw Nelson then he showed up, and it came to me how we talked at the pool at the party how we got introduced and how he looked confused when he saw my cousin.
'Smile' my father whispered and he kissed my hand as I walked with him, I took a deep breath looked him in the eyes and smile he whispered that I looked like a queen. I met eyes with my groom and smiled that's when he smiled.
'Work things out' my dad whispered as he give my hand to my groom, this could work out yeah I can finally see that.
'Hi this is the third time we met'
'Ah when you meet the someone for the third time unplanned it meant something?' I see his smile as we sat down infront.
'Miss Fuentes' the father asks me again because I wasn't really listening and was busy with my own thoughts.
'I do father' finally I could get that out of my chest and relaxed but little did i know he prepared a vow and I wasn't informed wedding should have vows. At least a wedding like ours
He threw his script and his groomsmen laugh so hard because of that
'You worked hard for that man why did you threw it all up?' one of his friends picked it up and winked at me, if that winked means I will be able to read that then I will accept that wink
'That was a trash I must say' he started and one of his cousins suddenly went crazy 'THIRD WHY ARE YOU BEING SHY ALL OF A SUDDEN?' and that made everyone laugh, I held his hand for him to looked at me
'It's okay it's both our first time doing this stuff so let's be crazy and laugh at it later on' he didn't speak a word so I did my part
'I never thought aside from saying I DO I need to prepare a vow, well I haven't paid attention to the wedding I attended by far because I only do the teasing part so forgive me because I had the worst words to say now but all I wanted to vow is I will be a friend that will support you and give you honest opinion, be your wife that could be there when you get home but I am a doctor so it depends which I will say sorry in advance for that but I will be your teammate to help you and give you a push whenever I needed to and I swear I got your back' my last statement brought laughter from my family but that gave me a clapped from Third's family
'I knew I will be married at my thirty but I never expected to marry someone I didn't know, I came here to convince the bride we should not continue this but I met someone one night and she asks me if this is my only choice or is it something I really wanna do, actually I had a choice but I chose to come here instead but when I saw that woman's face and hear her thoughts I was mesmerized so I looked for her the next day and found her last night beside the bridesmaids so I told myself she's my bride's bridesmaid' he took a deep breath and looked at me
'And by the time the door opened my mouth dropped and asks 'what the hell is she doing here?' I laughed at that
'But you know, I don't know what the future holds for us but I hope it's good and it's something we both worked hard at, nice to meet you my wife'
'You may now kiss the bride' it was a fast kiss but the photographer kept saying he didn't take it clearly so we did it for ten more seconds, all I know is it was awkward after that.
We stayed for the picture taking while the others proceeded at the venue.
'Boss come on loosen up' so his company handles the photography and the video of our wedding, even his staffs are teasing him
'Your wife is gorgeous why are you awkward with her?'
'I'm just afraid I might freak her out when I get intimate and I just met her' was his defense
'I am your wife now let's just finish this okay?' I said and loosen myself and focus on the shoot.
'Finally we took the shot'
I thought that was the end but at the car it was silent and I don't know what to say or what to do i mean I'm not that person who kept the conversation going and my heart is beating two times faster
What should I do? what should I say?
