Chapter 12: Surprised
Veronica's phone rang.
"Hey mum"
"Hie dear. Varun's grandparents called today. They accepted the proposal. What's your opinion?" , her mom expected some diplomatic response from her daughter.
"Me too, even I am ready for this marriage."
"That's a great news Sweety, bless you dear", her mother replied with a great sign of relief.
"Yup, take care mom".
Hanging her phone Veronica uttered 'Sorry mom' as she knew her decision was going to hurt her parents accordingly but she didn't had a choice.
After few minutes again her phone rang. This time it was Varun.
"Hello!!"
"Hey Veronica, I wanted you to adjust your stuff at my place." he said.
"So soon!!! Let the ceremony take place. We have alot of time in our hand", she replied while twitching her eyebrows.
"Yes, I know that but my grandparents ordered me to help you in adjusting your stuffs here", he replied while complaining.
"Oh, fine. Are you free tomorrow? I would take my things tomorrow at your place."
"Yeah , sure. I will send Louis to help you out."
"Ok"
For few minutes Veronica had a headache as she started thinking what she was doing even made any sense. But since she was confident, she started packing some items in a wooden box.

Her bell rang.
"Coming", Veronica said while making bun her head.
Louis was standing when she opened the door.
"You are on time", Veronica nodded.
"Are your stuffs ready Mrs... ahem.. Miss Veronica", Louis controlled his toungue.
Ignoring his mistake she said "Yes, help me out carrying the wooden box. It's quite heavy."
Louis nodded while following her.
After a while adjusting her stuffs in the car. She was ready to go Varun's place.
