Chapter 2: empty space
I think the first day of work will be an unforgettable experience. So, I tried to prepare myself as best as possible. Make sure I can handle everything properly. But what happened was, early in the morning I heard a commotion in the SNAPPAY GROUP building. Precisely on the 11th floor of the financial division which is also my workspace with my team. Suddenly an attractive looking female employee with a fantastic body came into the room with a stern face.
"Eh... Merry is coming!"
"Shh... don't look, let's quickly lower our heads."
The faint whispers began to sound, I still didn't understand what was really going on. At the same time, the once crowded room has now turned quiet, and the employees seem to be looking seriously at their respective desks. What's wrong with them? Are they playing a drama? Who knows. Because we didn't want to get into trouble, Alya and I did the same thing.
"What's with the way you guys work?!" The woman named Merry spoke loudly. "The budget for this period is very important. If something goes wrong. It will affect the overall project evaluation! While the reports you made are so sloppy, quickly re-create them!" He continued in a high-pitched tone. I carefully glanced around, and another employee's face stiffened.
At the same time, Alya whispered something in my ear. "At the very least, he was angry with the president. I heard that this Merry relies on her beauty and grace to attract our department heads. She uses the power of superiors to oppress us." I wonder what, how could at a time like this the girl was even busy gossiping.
Merry's eyes suddenly glanced at our table, I could immediately feel a terrifying aura from two meters away. Slowly he stepped closer to me, now I can even hear my heart beating harder, I closed my eyes tightly while praying that this was not the end of my life. I don't know what to do with Alya. I glanced to the side, and I found his face stiffening, maybe right now he is feeling the same way as me. Nervousness, fear, anger, all mixed into one.
"This...!" Merry threw a document on Alya's desk. "Now I leave it to you two, tomorrow morning, as soon as I get to the office, it should be done!" He ordered in a cold tone.
I widened my eyes, which was really nerve-wracking. I was grateful that the woman didn't say any more. He walked away just like that leaving the room which was still decorated with an aura of horror. And I, as well as the other employees, finally breathed a sigh of relief as things seemed to be back to normal. They all started talking again.
"Ah... no! I have a business today." Alya's shriek made me turn my head to look at her. The girl looked frustrated looking at the document on her desk.
I feel sorry for him. "Here, let me do this report. If you have a business you don't need to work overtime." I said as I grabbed the document from his desk.
Alya's eyes lit up for a moment. "Really? Gosh... Cilia, you're so kind, I'll definitely repay your kindness someday." I couldn't help but cringe at his exaggerated words.

POV SNAPP
Raindrops stick like dew on my office glass window, I approach and stare outside, it seems it's getting late. I walked back to my desk when the flat, rectangular object rang.
"Hello..." I said as soon as I managed to slide the green button on the screen.
"Snapp..." The voice of the girl on the other end sounded spoiled when she said my name.
I smiled even though he couldn't see it. "Hmm... you miss me?" I asked the question without further ado. Not that I want to be overconfident. But may I praise myself? In fact, many women are crazy about me. With the good looks, power, and wealth that I achieved at a young age. What woman can resist my charms?
"Snapp... where are you? We're having dinner right? But now I'm shooting a commercial, can you pick me up?" He said still in a spoiled tone.
"Okay, good job. I'll be picking you up soon." I deliberately pretended to be a caring man. And that is one of my strengths again, so women always adore me and bend their knees in front of me. even they always give themselves up without me asking.
"Snapp... I love you so much." They also gave their heart to me. While they are for me only as a gratification of lust.
I immediately grabbed my work coat and car keys lying on the table. Then rush downstairs. The office was completely quiet, maybe all my employees had returned to their respective homes.
When I just got out of the elevator and walked back to the lobby, A security guard, whom I specifically work for 24 hours, seemed to hastily open the exit door for me before I actually got there.
"Ah . . . young master Snapp, it's still raining hard. Didn't you bring an umbrella? Let me get it. Please wait a moment." The uniformed man looked very polite.
Soon he looked around. "Hey... Miss, the one with the sling bag in front. Can you lend me your umbrella for a moment to get to the parking area?" I followed his gaze and saw who he was talking to. Apparently, a woman was holding an umbrella and standing with her back to us.
The woman didn't move, as if she didn't hear what Security was trying to talk to her about. He looked like he was about to leave.
"Hey . . . Miss. Come back, young master Snapp will borrow your umbrella." Shouted the security again, but it seemed that the girl had no intention of stopping her steps let alone turning to come to me. He even accelerated his steps through the crying sky just like that.
The Security was astonished at him. Not only him. But I'm also speechless. So far, there has never been a girl who could dodge, let alone resist my charms. But... that girl. It was as if I had just undermined my self-esteem, which in fact had been all this time... It was the women who always surrounded me. They are the ones who always adore me and cling to me. But...

That woman... purposely ran away from me. This fact is really hard to believe. I am the idol. I am like this prince. Ah... Was that...
I just got rejected.
"Young master Snapp sorry?" The security man could only stare at me guiltily. But that's not what I thought.
I was still staring at the back of the girl who slowly began to disappear from my sight.

I want to know what that girl's name is. How dare he ignore me.

Cilia POV
The next morning, the commotion again sounded in the finance division room. It seems like every day there's drama going on. Do you think this is a story in a novel?
"Attention everyone! This is an urgent notification. Young master Snapp will be making a surprise inspection. Everyone is ready!"
The one who had just spoken in a loud voice earlier was, who else if not Merry? I'm too lazy to see that guy's face again.
If only I could disappear right now. If only there was Doraemon's magic door here. If only... Ah, I guess it's all for nothing. It seems that this meeting is unavoidable.
"Jesus... young master Snapp is coming!" I sighed heavily hearing Alya's voice which was always enthusiastic every time I mentioned the man's name. I even flinched when he suddenly grabbed my arm tightly. "Cilia... let's hurry, let's get dressed first." Isn't this an exaggeration? Why do you have to dress up everything? Did he think Snapp was a beauty pageant judge? I'm really confused by the thoughts of the female employees here.
What's so good about being a Snapp? They just don't know what kind of man he really is.
"I don't have to come, do I?" Reject me.
But the girl doesn't seem to want to know. He just kept pulling my arm excitedly. Reluctantly I followed in his footsteps. "The toilets must be full right now. I know a quiet place and no one else." He said with enthusiasm.
Arriving in front of the room that Alya meant. The girl seemed to have forgotten something. He immediately rummaged through the contents of his bag, but it looks like he couldn't find what he was looking for. "Ouch... where's my lift, even though I just bought it yesterday. Could it be left on my desk?" He muttered still busy searching. "Silia... you just go in first, I'll go back to my desk to look for it. I'll be back here later. Wait for me, okay?"
After that Alya rushed to run leaving me alone in front of a room that was so quiet. This place is located near the emergency stairs. It would be rare for people to pass by this place as they would definitely prefer to take the elevator.
From inside the room with the door slightly ajar, my sense of hearing caught a sound. I slowly stepped closer to make sure what was that sound.
At first, I was unsure. But the closer I got, the louder the sound became. A woman's voice.
Good grief...
I could hardly even believe my own eyes. What is this? This scene before me should not be seen, because it would make my holy eyes tarnish. I saw Snapp was making out with a girlfriend.
I quickly turned around, covering my own mouth so as not to make a noise. With quick steps I immediately wanted to leave there, but because of my carelessness, my feet accidentally tripped over a bench causing a loud noise.
"Who is that?"
