A shutter camera becomes faster and faster while two people shake hands with a device behind them.
"You see that, she is creating something unbelievable again"
"Well, this one often makes the world surprise after all"
"I heard she got various accusations thrown at her, but all of them got silent after she let them explain the theory that she invented"
"That's crazy, she singlehandedly faces professors from top universities"
"Whoa, did she teach other students?"
"No, she only works alone on her private island after one of her inventions about the energy that is more efficient than we use right now"
"I heard the XXX country offer her to be their scientist but she refuse after seeing the contract agreement and decide to work alone and keep making something that makes the government mad"
"Not mad on the surface tho, but I heard she got so many assassination attempts and that's why she shut herself on a private island and kept making new inventions"
"That's crazy, it's similar to fighting against a world"
"Yeah, but she gained popularity thanks to all her inventions and various companies that were willing to agree with her"
All people talk about a person who just received another award for her invention in neuroscience where a human could integrate their brains with a chipset that could improve humans' brain capability significantly.
Yup, that person is me, Rose Spencer, a mere scientist who has gained a foothold on the highest human chain in history.
I still remember myself as a mere child from the slum even reading a book or newspaper is impossible.
But that's what happened in the past, I crawled from the deepest part of human hierarchy to the highest ever humans could gain.
All my fame and wealth come from countless trials and research. Countless inventions helped me to set up my foothold and breach all obstacles that tried to deter my persistence.
"Ms. Spencer, what's your plan after you get one of the highest awards for this invention?" A reporter asks a question after the photo session has ended.
"…My plan, I know that I have various stuff that I could show for the next time…" I answered, while looking back at my result which is the chip that could integrated with a human brain.
Click-click-click
A fast shutter speed camera keeps taking a picture of me.
"…But I think, this one will be the last one I could show on the occasion like this…" I said that while pointing at the chip with my thumb while looking at the camera.
"…"
The situation becomes silent suddenly. Until some of them slowly take a picture again and ask various questions.
"How about the next nomination that will be held at the end of the year?!"
"I heard you have so many opponents, is that the cause of your retirement?!"
"I heard you got an offer from the X government to work with them?! What's your answer?!"
"What makes you retire early?!"
"Ms. Spencer?!"
"Ms. Spencer!"
"Ms. Spencer…"
"Ms…"
I keep walking off from the stage and move away from the crowd. Assisted by two guards, I exit from the conference building. With that, I end my career as a scientist.
[A genius one in few centuries: Has retired?!]

[Is this the turning point of history?!]
Countless articles about me has spread out to every corner of the world. Some of them just a bluff of rumor, while some of them fact that I only said at the conference or something that they tried connected with my previous interview.
The world just know that I retired for good reason. While some people began to panic because they don't know what will I do and counldn't keep me in touch.
Well, I want to let them know that I disappear for good. And make a last act for this world as a good deal.
Zap-Sssst
An automatic door opened after I make a trip back from the conference to my private island.
[Welcome home, master] A robotic voice comeout from the speaker.
"Hi Aurora, how's the situation?" I answered and ask what happened while I'm gone.
[There's around 15 intruders tried to infiltrate this island. All of them fall unconsciously] Aurora, my only trustworthy companion answered.
"Good work, do they put on the dungeon?" I asked to make sure.
[Yes, do you need to check them right now?] Aurora answered.
"Yes"
The reason why I want to make my last good deal to nature is just because of how human greed in this world is unbelievably disgusting.
I know that I'm also greedy for knowledge, but the question is, what does mankind do to nurture nature? While I keep creating something that could make human life more efficient without any further exploitation, then those people keep exploiting this planet and even use my knowledge for their exploitation.
A footstep echoed through the corridor with only myself alone as a source of noise. Until I arrive at the end of the corridor with an elevator.
The door opened and I entered the elevator then pushed the -5 floor button where it goes down slowly. After a while, I arrived at the cold and dim room that was filled with people.
15 people sit down on the chair with each of them restrained by the handcuff. Not a normal handcuff that usually a police do. This handcuff could restrain a whole body with a small electro current that is enough to paralyze without killing them.
"So, got any information about them?" I asked Aurora.
"We got some information about their clients, but some of them refuse to talk. I just use brain screening to gain their information forcefully" Aurora answered with monotonous tone.
A lady with perfectly fine body appear behind me. This person is Aurora, She is the only humandroid which I have perfected. The only peak of my research that never shown to anybody.
"Alright, let's see what they have" I answered, then Aurora hand over her result what she did on them.
"Let's see what we have here… StartrekDefence, GlobalShade, SilverElixir, CobeSofware, LegacyTechnology. Whoa, I think people become rush after they heard I retired" I responded after read various companies that try to keep in touch with me.
"Reasons… invention exploitation, kidnapping a certain scientist, destroying the facilities, and even attempt to self-destruct by himself… Whoa, I guess they have a nerve after they heard I retired" I widened my eyes a little bit.
Even though this isn't my first time have something like this, I never expect they move quickly just after I told public about my retirement.
"Then, why you decide to take this job by the way, I know this job to kill me quite high, but not all assassins are this stupid right?" I asked while look at each of them, with silent expression all of them didn't answer at all.
"Sigh, look… I'm just trying to expand your lifetime a little bit, you know" I'm trying to explain and some of them startled by what I told. Imply that I'll kill them in the end.
"Yeah, and what? My position in here just to tell my position and inner structure of this facility, I'll die in the end too" One spy told me.
"Ahh, so they dare to use that even though not perfect yet? Sigh… why being rush tho?" I mumbling after they.
"Wait, you know that?" The spy asked back.
"Of course and we do some countermeasure with disable that device inside your body" I explained.
"B-but when? I didn't feel anything weird?" The spy become pale on his face.
"Since when? Of course since you enter this island, what else? You enter this island from north by a plane and dive through reff and cave to avoid detection" I explained with a smile.
"?!" The spy startled by my reaction, well nailed at his face.
"Alright then, I guess you don't have any other question. Aurora, send this man to the Etna Volcano Mountain, and send rest of them to point nemo" I asked aurora while pointing the spy that talk to me.
"?!" All of them startled by my order.
"Wait what?! How is that possible?!" Other spy shouted spontaneusly.
"Well, you're become part of my experimentation of course… If this is success then you'll teleported there, if fail… they you'll die instantly" I answered flatly his question.
"I mean how is that possible?!" One of them asked.
"Well… I'm a genius one in few centuries after all, See ya?!" I answered with a smile and wave good bye towards them.
"WAI-?!"
*ZAP
A small flash appear and all of them quickly disappear on speed of light.
I exit from the dungeon prison and Aurora follow me quickly.
"They come again?" I asked.
"Yes, even their number more than usual" Aurora answered with a frown.
"Well, I think they really want to destroy this island after all. Whatever, just go to your capsule and seal yourself there, I will start that project right now"
"…I'll go there" Aurora answered.
"Don't ever try to peek and just become a good girl for this time, alright?" I tease her with some jokes.
"Sigh… alright, I shall obey your order" Aurora answered.
Then we parted ways on some intersections and entered different elevators.
With this, I commence my last project with the codename "Re-Birth".

Lightwood_Light Alright, I'm pretty much F up this time... I design this novel ofc for male but I wrote the MC as Female... *sigh... I know this is my fault, and probably I plan to change this chapter 01 and 02 (which is before reincarnation) as male and probably add gen bend genre on this novel.
