Chapter 24: CHAPTER 24 — First Day of Hunt for Donors
When Kangjian was in Doctor Young Dae's room...
After Doctor Young Dae left his room, Dalmi bravely took the opportunity. She opened the document containing patient and donor information that was on Doctor Young Dae's desk.
"Seoyul..." Dalmi muttered with a surprised expression when she saw a name that was familiar to her eyes on the list of patients and donors. "So, Seoyul is the donor that Doctor Young Dae meant?" Dalmi wondered in disbelief, all the way home from the hospital to her house.

In the afternoon, when Dalmi was at her house, she kept on finding out about Seoyul. Without feeling tired, Dalmi sat at the dining table alone while browsing the internet until she didn't realize that the sun had set and the starless night sky appeared.
"So today you didn't move from this dining table because you were busy finding out about Seoyul Hyung?" Yinjun asked with his eyes wide open.
Dalmi then nodded her head while smiling. "Zhuyang Oppa, you've been friends with Seoyul all this time, right?" Dalmi looked at Zhuyang. Then Zhuyang nodded his head. "Then you know Seoyul well, right?" She asked again.
Zhuyang nodded again. "Why are you so interested in Seoyul?" Zhuyang inquired. He looked at Dami suspiciously.
"Because Seoyul has the spinal cord that I need. He is a suitable donor for me. His name is on the list of donors that I saw in Doctor Young Dae's room this morning," said Dalmi. Dalmi's words made Zhuyang, Yinjun, and also Changyi stare at Dalmi in disbelief.
"How did Seoyul's name get on the donor list? I mean, what is Seoyul's reason for wanting to become a bone marrow donor?" muttered Zhuyang who did not understand Seoyul's way of thinking.
"Don't know!" Dalmi, Yinjun, and Changyi answered in unison while shrugging their shoulders. "But one thing is for sure, that what Seoyul Hyung has done is a noble thing," Yinjun said.
"Then what do you want from me, Dalmi?" Zhuyang looked at his little sister who was sitting opposite him. "If it's about Seoyul, then you can ask anything you want to know," he explained.
"I want Seoyul's contact info or his home address," Dalmi answered very clearly and without being complicated.
Zhuyang let out a breath for a moment, then he gulped down the water in his glass before starting to speak. "So you're saying, Seoyul is the only matched donor for you?" Zhuyang asked then Dalmi moved her head up and down repeatedly rapidly. "You can look for it. But it's not easy to enter the agency building without a reservation," Zhuyang said.
"Hyung, can't you help Dalmi Noona?" Changyi looked at Zhuyang expectantly. "Zhuyang Hyung, you are Seoyul Hyung's best friend. You are the person who knows Seoyul Hyung the best. And you two are also very close colleagues, because you are in the same agency. Can't you tell Dalmi Noona about his activities or what kind of thing does he often do?" Changyi asked.

Zhuyang, Dalmi, and Changyi immediately turned their gazes towards Yinjun. "Alright, tomorrow I will go to Kwangsun Entertainment and catch him there!" Dalmi replied very firmly.

Dalmi choked for a moment after hearing Zhuyang and Yinjun's words. Realizing that Dalmi's tongue was complaining, Zhuyang and Changyi then gripped Yinjun and Dalmi's hands tightly.
"That's right!" Changyi said. He and Dalmi then exchange glances. "The three of us will always pray for you, Dalmi Noona, so that God's merciful heart always surrounds you with love, strength, and courage. And we will always ask God's hand to touch you with healing power. May God direct you to the right treatment. May every active cancer cell in your body be removed and replaced with a better one. However, with the support and attention of her siblings, cancer will carve Dalmi into someone who understands more deeply about the meaning of life, appreciates more quickly, loves more, and lives more passionately.
Dalmi reviewed her best smile to her siblings. "I don't feel afraid anymore now. Because I have the three of you by my side," Dalmi replied with a stuttering voice. The next day, Dalmi with Changyi and Yinjun went to the swimming pool at Kwangsun Entertainment to hunt down Seoyul. From a distance, Changyi saw a man suspected of being Seoyul's assistant. The man was pacing in front of the door. Dalmi, Yinjun, and Changyi then pretended to take a selfie to take a closer look at Seoyul and his assistant.
"Wow!! I didn't expect this place to be so cool! Come on over here and take lots of pictures!" Dalmi said to Yinjun and Changyi.
"Hey! Who is he?" Changyi asked in such a small voice.
"It seems he is Seoyul Hyung's assistant." Yinjun looked at Dalmi and Changyi in turn. "Do you remember, last night Zhuyang Hyung said that Seoyul Hyung has an assistant who is always by his side. He always follows Seoyul Hyung wherever Seoyul Hyung goes. He is like Seoyul Hyung's shadow. And I think he is the one," said Yinjun.
"HANSEO!" Dalmi and Changyi said in unison while looking at each other, then they immediately turned their gazes towards Yinjun who was standing in their midst.
Yinjun's conjecture was spot on!! Hanseo is Seoyul's assistant. Reportedly, Hanseo is not just Seoyul's irreplaceable right-hand man. But he can read Seoyul's eyes and understand Seoyul's every move.
"Dalmi Noona, we have to go through it before you go inside." Changyi whispered to Dalmi and Yinjun.
"Changyi is absolutely right, Noona!" Yinjun chimed in. "We have to get rid of the assistant first. After that, you can go inside freely," he said.
Dalmi wrinkled her face. "But how?" She asked. Meanwhile, Changyi and Yinjun looked like they were thinking about something. The two men seem to be thinking about the right way to get rid of Hanseo so that Dalmi can enter the pool area and meet Seoyul.
"Ah!! I have an idea!" whispered Dalmi.
"What?!" asked Yinjun and Changyi in unison.
