Chapter 3: 3 : Being a secretary
I still can't understand how I become a secretary and that's too a chairman's . Eventhough i hesitated initially gradually i decided to take the challenge.
Knock knock
My first day as a secretary i have to nail it. I gathered all my courage and pushed the door with a plastered warm smile on my face.
" Good morning sir"
..................
It was empty.
I closed my mouth and sighed.
Suddenly I heard some voice from outside. I got panicked and confused ended up climbing under a table.
.. loading.....
Wait why did I hide I'm his secretary. I have done nothing wrong . I hitt my head. When I'm about to come out i heard a woman laugh .
I peeked to take a look .
And I frozen by the view that portrayed Infront of me .The woman and my so called boss were sharing a passionate kiss in the early morning. Wow.
I closed my eyes with my hand. Her moans made me uncomfortable i cursed god for only having two hands for a humans. Now who gonna cover my ears. Wait then why do have eyelids.
They are getting too into it. God why do I have to be here and witnessing this sh*t
Ring Ring....
Ohhh no no not now my stupid phone. I tried to take out my phone from the pocket and ended up dropping it. The name flashed in the screen
..SHOON....
It stopped and screen got back to black. The sudden silence barged through my ears. Now I can hear the sound of foot steps that coming closer and closer.....
gulp
Suddenly a face appeared in front of my face
"Aaaaaaaaaaarhh"
I screamed and jumped to backwards. My head hit on the table and cried in pain while rubbing it.
"Looks like my new secretary is a peeping tom" he said and stood back straight.
"Darling it seems like it's is not the right time I will come later" I heard the women saying then kissed him and then left.
Please don't go. I'm the one who interrupting I'll go.
Gulp*. Farewell world sayonara(good bye) my precious life.
" Come out now and explain Ms secretary" he said it with an anger filled voice.
Well I'm dead.
I gathered all my courage and climbed up the table without making any voice. I walked to where he standing while adjusting my dress.
He was standing facing the door and slightly leaning towards the shelf .
"Sir I'm really sorry for disturbing your roman.. i mean your meeting I didn't mean to peek i got confused an..."
"That's enough! " he interrupted my apology and continued
" Now you know how things happen here. And this is one of your duty"
"Duty!!"
I raised my eyebrows in confusion.
"Controlling my women's .that's your main job. And I very well know you're capable for doing it that's why I chose you". He said it while turning and looking at me with a smirk.

So this is the actual reason. And he saw everything that day including the talk with that beauty.

William POV
Every woman's are same . TROUBLE. She is no different. Her stupid nerd glasses and dumb face . She is perfect for the job as uncle said
Sam POV
My life become upside down . A jump from a simple hotel staff to chairman's secretary. It's overwhelming but exhausting. I didn't even get time to breath ( just a figure of speech) because of arranging and understanding this new job .
"What is his next schedule"
a smile curved through my lips .
"Seems like next two hours are free and he is not here. Finally I can rest my ass" i said to my self.
"Ohhh hoooo" i took away my glasses and put my head on the desk to take a quick stress nap. " Hmmmmmm I love it".
Narrators POV
While samantha entered her lala land William returned back from his previous meeting. When he was about to enter the office he noticed that his secretary was napping. He stopped and looked her for some minutes then quickly opened the door and slammed it leaving a heavy sound. Samantha jumbped from her seat.
" Wh.... wha..What I didn't take anything" she mumbled in half sleep while looking around with half opened eyes.
William POV
What was that just now. Something flashed for a second. I have to figure it out. Was that because if her. Her smell.
I quickly dialled to secretaries cabin.
"Sam come inside " i called her without thinking.
When she entered the smell of her deodorant made me even more uncomfortable.
" Stop there and listen" i said while fixing my coat " Is any of my women's available now?" i said it without looking at her.
"Yes sir Ms Olivia is available should I call her" she said it while checking the tab.
I shook my head in approval. And stormed out.
Sam POV
I don't understand him is he really human doesn't he want to rest . He was running all day and now he get sometime to rest and now he going to his woman. He kiss one women in the morning and going to another in the noon. A total Casanova.
" Tsk tsk tsk " i slightly shake my head in disappointment and sighed.
When I'm about to open the door suddenly a cold hand surrounded my waist and pushed me towards the wall .
I can feel the cold breath on the sides of my neck.
I frozen in shock and become unable to move. Gh... ghost. It really exist.
" It's tempting ...." it whispered to my ears. I let down the breath that I was holding.
Wait.... it's not a ghost..... it's him . I turned my head .When we made an eye contact my heart it's doing it again. It's not Olympics my dear heart please hold on there.
he suddenly pulled away from me
"Get out" he roared while punching the wall.
Confused, frustrated, annoyed, irritated I don't know what I saw in his eyes . Without asking i immediately walked out of the room.
I stood beside my table then slowly leaned to the desk holding my head on the hand. " What's wrong with him " is he finally gone crazy.
but wait a minute was that a sexual harassment. Why my heart is beating so fast.
"Stop thinking stupidity and do your job" I spanked my head and wiped my sweats. "By the way what's the temperature today. It feels so hot .fhooo " I mumbled while fanning with my hand.
After 5 minutes he stepped out from his room and left without any word .
Finally the day is over. My first day as his secretary. It's not easy as I expected. Suddenly his cold breath flashed through my neck . I felt goosebumps.
I smacked my head for remembering it. I pulled blanket over my head .
"I can't sleep" i rolled over the bed . The name flashed on my mobile while hiding under the table
"SHOON" why did he called me . Did he find out where I'm . Millions of questions replayed through my head.
"I have to call Jess " i mumbled and searched for my phone . Where is it i searched all over my bag and room . " Where the hell it go " .
I tried to remember while biting my nails.
" No way it won't be there right "
The probability of my conclusion to be true gave shivers throughout my body.
In the morning while hiding ....." I dropped it there no no no how many more problems do i have to encounter today" i cried in my words. I pushed away the blanket and grabbed the jacket and Perce before running out.
Narrators POV
While running sam called a taxi to the nearest stop. It's about 9 pm and dark . By a long drive that felt like millions of years she reached the office. After the long explanation and pleading to the security he allowed her to enter and she ran towards the elevator and pressed the button.
Her heart beat increased as she entered the main block . Most of the lights were off and remaining lights are enough to see the way. Without making any noise she entered the chairman's office.
She found her phone on the floor " oh my precious phone i missed you *uwuuwuwuuwuw" she said while hugging her phone close to her chest .
CREAK...
She looked behind to find out what is that sound. She found a door that opening right behind the chair . It seems like a secret room in the office. She heard sound of talking . And she silently moved her steps without making any noise to take a look at the secret room.
Her jaw dropped and eyes widened by the view inside the room.....
