Chapter 278: Chapter -278

The whole town was woken up by a ringing of the bell coming from the bell tower at the town square. People gathered, coming out from their houses to the place where the people usually gathered.

"It's an injured lad." One of the men shouts who had just walked out from the river. There were other four men with him.

"He needs help."

"Somebody call Master Jeriah."

The crowd murmurs at the sight of the young man being dragged out from the river. There were lamps hung around to which they didn't require a lamp to carry with them. Soon enough, Jeriah and Lavi arrived. He takes a look at the young man which requires immediate attention.

The injured man was soon taken to their cottage where there was an empty cottage beside them. A place where they usually let those unwell people be taken care of. It was more like a health care centre rather than a hospital.
